  1. I just can't believe how shit his subs were. 30 minutes before the goal the Stoke team were getting tired and we were just logging on with backpass-Gouffran trying to play left back instead of Dummett. Perez should have been in for him at the 55th minute. The pace of Aarons would also have been useful. But then he brings on Riviere and I just want to puke. Then we get the goal against and he panics and its too late.
  2. West Brom playing to all our strengths and not challenging our weaknesses. Hopefully it continues in the second half. Very good performance so far.
  3. Can't believe the goalie came out there, the defenders would have gotten to him and he'd have had to make a smashing finish. Goalie made it easy. Tiote with his 2nd wrongly disallowed goal ffs!
  4. What is baffling is how much cheaper it would be for him to just attempt to hire knowledgeable people compared to the likes of Charnley, who would in turn run the club well, and create a structure within the club. Instead he just has some yes-men do the bare minimum and then panic-buy once it looks like relegation. Maybe in 10 years' time he will realise running a football club is not the same as selling crappy t-shirts. If the team is shit you can't always bail it out in January with money.
  5. I just think replacing Dummett from our first 11 would be more beneficial than replacing Thauvin on the bench.
  6. I don't really see how we need him other than off the bench? And why would we over-pay for someone to sit on our bench? I mean I'm all for depth, but Townsend at £14m is absolutely ridiculous. Rather give Thauvin a chance and put that money into improving at LB and getting someone like Berahino. This, just get a left back instead, and give Thauvin an opportunity to prove himself.
  7. Honestly don't care at all if we get 5M for Tiote or keep him. He's not great but out of Tiote, Anita and Colback i'd prefer Tiote against the better sides, and Anita at home, leaving Colback on the side of the road somewhere. No idea how good Saivet is but even if he is a world beater I'd rather have Tiote on the bench than Colback. Is he only 28? Too early to go and have your career die in China, no matter how much money you are offered.
  8. Been MOTM for the last 3 games. Took us half a season to get him into a proper system where he plays his favorite position. Getting used to the league was important but I think that's the main he's not going missing now, he's not a winger in a million years. Clever positioning and team-play is his game, not running up and down on the wing.
  9. Was very negative about this signing because he looked a bit like a dick and not the character we need. Absolutely delighted about how wrong he proved me though. Some of his passing was delightful today, if we could just get rid of Colback it would be swell!
  10. It will be pretty funny to see some of the chinese boys get absolutely smashed
  11. I always hate playing against Manu, the hypocrisy from everyone on a television set is unbelievable. Smalling should have gone and the penalty was stonewall and obvious, yet they drag it out for 10 minutes discussing it and finally agreeing "Smalling gives the referee an excuse". Fellaini had far too many chances before he got his first yellow, and was lucky to stay on the pitch as well. They didn't even show the last penalty incident which I felt was very clear, and the Janmaat one was a penalty even though not that easy for the ref to give. What pisses me off most though is how our side acts, its almost like an inferiority complex. You never see any leaders contesting decisions or putting pressure on the referee to do the right thing, its like we have a team of pushovers with perhaps the exception of Janmaat. You see Rooney putting pressure and letting the ref know right away and it works. We need someone like Kevin Nolan in the side, preferably with a bit more ability. Wijnaldum has to start in that role the rest of his life, he makes such intelligent runs and we have actually had more possesion and an equal amount of chances against Arsenal and Manu now. If we play like that against worse sides we will be ok, but then that's a pretty big if.
  12. Aye. LB being top priority IMO, as Dummett is utter garbage. So true, spend 10m on a strong and quick lb that has the technique to play football as well as defend and the team is suddenly far better.
  13. The Perez replacement locked in boys, lets flog him.
  14. At least not winning this wont mean Mike Ashley doesn't feel he needs to invest. Then again he will probably think "good performance, we'll stay up". Dummett HAS to go, If we actually had someone attacking on the left, we would be so more dangerous.
  15. Referee has realised Arsenal might not win by themselves, can't be having that of course.
  16. Is it just me who thought we were ok? De Jong, Wijnaldum, Mitrovic and Sissoko all missed big opportunities, and they scored from one great strike that Janmaat could have defended better. Dummett was given the runaround most of the game making the need for a proper left back apparent in January. I thought Anita had a good game. I just hope Cisse isnt in the squad next week. He just never looks like doing anything but giving away obsession. Straight after he was subbed we looked more dangerous, though I quite like De Jong.
  17. Danny Simpson, Premier League Champion
  18. Costa Ivanovic Huth Fabregas Terry Catts De jong Wilshere Shelvey Stoke Suarez Van Persie Sagna Nasri Mcmanaman Johnson Larsson Dele Alli
  19. Hatem always had such good passing as well. Been a really good watch so far.
  20. I agree that would have been fine as well. The midfield were terrible today, we desperately need a central midfielder who can pass in January. The couple of times Wijnaldum tried to do a one-two and then go running off on a counter attack Anita and Tiote just screwed up simple passes.
  21. Worryingly Pardewesque sub with Cisse there. Surely anyone who's seen Cisse play would know exactly what he gives you when the team is struggling to do anything with the ball. Offside, ballbouncing and stopping the counter attack. If we had put Thauvin on and kept Perez up top a little longer instead we might have ran at them a little bit at least. Perez isn't quick or strong enough to run through defences by himself down the wing.
  22. I like Perez the most behind a striker, and if Gouffran is up-front its fine by me. He used to be able to score goals once in a while before he got leftbackpardewed. He is not a winger by any stretch but he was brought in as a backup striker if you ask me, and with Cisse out its either him or Riviere., Shouldn't be too much of a difference, hopefully he can make some runs to make space for the more gifted players like Perez/Cabella
  23. Up there with classic Pardew matches such as the west brom 3-3, and the Wolves 2-2
