  1. That was the dictionary definition of 'scared shitless' as I'm ever likely to see. Note to nufc: if deep crosses dont work 24 times, theyre unlikely to work the 25th time. And 26th.
  2. I think if the last year has shown us anything it's that the self proclaimed uber-fans of the whole wide world, with a cheeky smile for all, a self-deprecating wink to their own pitfalls and a welcoming wave to all the 'fans-in-peace'...really REALLY can't take any criticism. At all. Their team is a monumental fuckup who has found their level....way down there. Oh, and their town is increasingly a poster-boy for social collapse. Weekly right wing marches? Fuck me.
  3. Late 70’s through till late 80’s mate, I’m ashamed to say I joined in as it was the norm.....no one said a thing. It was disgusting and I look back in shame as I just followed the crowd with monkey chants not knowing the human impact I was doing , Newcastle fans were up there with the worst in the country in truth. Ashamed tbh Purely because Newcastle was a White city it was not very diverse or multicultural at all, it was not a Leeds or a Birmingham,London, Liverpool,Manchester etc that had multi cultural aspects hence the deeply racist element to the city in that era There might be some truth in that and the city is certainly a hundred times more diverse now that kids growing up in 2018 Newcastle have a much more varied set of friends and neighbours which makes it harder to hold theose repugnant views. Conversely, London is one of the most diverse cities in the world, as it was back in the 70s and 80s when racist abuse was some of the worst in the country at places like Chelsea, and as very recent events have shown, clearly still is an issue. And as diverse as Leeds and Birmingham are, their fans have never been averse to it either.
  4. A cursory look at the replies and they seem to have come to the same concensus as Frank Reynolds in IASIP...
  5. Get in Second bit - I completely agree, which is why I want this to be true. Fuck it if that's the wrong thing to do. I mean, my name is right there ffs Agree with both though. Be smashing Pink Lane up if it happens. Me too hopefully....wait, this is a metaphor right?
  6. Poor. just very, incredibly poor today. All over the place.
  7. Great today, absolute star. Final product was just sublime.
  8. The Times Square bratwurst stall is a fucking travesty is all im saying. Much preferred the Ladyboys of Bangkok. Ashley out.
  9. 11 min delay in Cowgate....Drive thru Costa or KFC. These billionaires need their fix.
  10. "Yeah Ive got a girlfriend, she goes to a different school, you won't know her..."
  11. From the (90% shite most of the time) Daily Mash... https://www.thedailymash.co.uk/news/society/britains-nastiest-towns-get-festive-visit-from-the-pepsi-max-cherry-truck-20181129179974 "Britain's nastiest towns"
  12. Agree with that last bit, sometimes it is appropriate. But is a 2-on-2 scenario where you have broke at pace really the best time to check back and allow the defense to regroup? That move came to nothing when it could've killed the game. It's frustrating to see because players of a lot less ability take on such a move, I just dont know what he was scared would happen.
  13. You talking about the pinpoint cross he put over for our 2nd goal here? Never touched him for their last minute free kick either. When the ball is put to his foot on a dead-ball situation - like that one - with no-one near him - he can do the business. When its played forward to him in any sort of attacking situation, he checks back and sucks momentum from the move. Did it twice tonight, including a sure-fire 2-on-2....he chickened out. Against f*cking Burnley.
  14. Missed an open goal and gave a 96th min free kick on the cusp of the penalty area. But yeah, those (ineffective) crosses.
  15. They have done some decent stuff with the local community tbf. *spit* Thing is, when I see stuff like this, you have to wonder did the c*nt Ashley have anything to do with it (or even know about it from his house in fuck-knows-shire) or was it at the behest of NUFoundation/Rafa/the community itself?
  16. Was reading about that a while ago, presume the Arena is going to be a lot smaller if they're going to fit it in the car park between the Sage and Baltic no it will be bigger. Current arena is 7000 New arena is going to be 12,000 Current arena is 11,000 for concerts, it’s only going to be an increase of 1,000. We should really be looking towards a 20,000 capacity venue for concerts considering how many events have multiple nights. Current arena is 7000 seats, increasing capacity to 11,000 for gigs by using the arena floor for more seats/standing The new arena is 12,500 seats so we would see a similar increase when the floor area is included for concerts, not sure how much, but to considerably more than the 11,000 allowed at the current arena though.
  17. I've been wondering this too. My guess would be that bloke with quite clear issues that rang up TS about Micky Quinn, but beyond that no idea. Can only presume that the gravy stuff is a reaction to cheesy chips and blue pop, but either way it's weak as fuck. Its this shite Hahaha Fkin hell! Why has this never been posted?!? The way it zooms in on the 'Carlsberg' logo on the boat at about 30 secs...bless him, he's so god damn proud! "Whooooah wah Geordies!" Scuse me, I'm off to hire a boat and a 2001 Sony camcorder.
  18. Offering incentives like the shop manager that he is trying to motivate his warehouse staff. How is a happy hour pasta and a couple of days extra annual leave meant to motivate a bunch of multi-millionaires? A more effective motivator was if he offered his own resignation the day safety is achieved. Anyone know any of the kitchen staff on at Rialtos last night? Can we confirm whether Ashleys carbonara was 'extra creamy'...
  19. How is this news to anyone? We are, and always have been, their be-all and end-all, and as we prepare for a match against arguably one of the top sides in world football, they are equal on points with Accrington Stanley. Obviously they’re going to deflect any attention to us…that is if anyone was giving them any. Which no-one is, because they are, and have been for a long time, utterly insignificant. F*ck them.
  20. Nope. Its the bantz of someone who takes a Peter Kaye DVD from over a decade ago as his go-to for subversive humour. Basically, a humourless thick b*stard. You just know at some point during the meal he said "Garlic Bread???" and "Simples"
  21. Bob: "There was Gary Cheeseman, we called him 'Cheesy' cos his mam gave him slices of cheese, cos she thought it was good for his spots" Lee Mack: "Surely its because his name was Cheeseman?" Bob: "No..." I think you need to have grown up with Vic and Bob to get them. I've made a couple of Americans watch Shooting Stars and they just looked bewildered. Seems to be the general reaction!
  22. Agreed...I had no love for Barton, he was a liability at the best of times, and a gobshite supreme (which has clearly continued). But Cabaye...God I loved having him playing for us, he was just masterful sometimes, controlling the midfield like a fucking king. But he refused to play for NUFC. Not for Ashley, or Pardew...he refused to play for Newcastle United. Unforgivable.
  23. "The diddler mused..." And while I'm here: https://www.sunderlandecho.com/our-region/sunderland/one-horse-stabbed-to-death-and-another-dies-in-fire-at-sunderland-allotment-site-1-9338519 Well, that's their little horse-puncher meme fucked then! Fucking horse-stabbing fascist-paedo racist third division cuuuunts!
  24. "Tracksuit tycoon Mike Ashley is facing an investor revolt at Sports Direct next month with shareholders being urged to vote against his re-election." First time the daily mail has ever made me smile.
  25. It's where Gallowgate Flags/Wor Flags start all their walks from...has been for a while I think. Judging from this vid they must cut down through the university
