We both know that neither will happen

First half of this fixture last year, we played excellent, one of the best away performances in the Pards era, then the second half was the worst...
-
Well i meant they wouldn't be happy with the performance didn't say they wouldn't have still enjoyed the trip
-
I don't think this kind of display was anything to do with a lack of effort. We should be bringing the younger players in gradually and play teams with a combination of experience and youth in this competition. Playing that many young players against Bordeaux away was not going to help their confidence or improve them as a player at all, this is before the daft formation changes and substitutions as well.
-
If you look at how depressing that performance was, imagine how the fans who traveled there feel Cant think of any positives to take from that
-
Well that was a pile of shite

Our general midfield play hasn't been bad tonight, just our final ball and strikers have been
-
Because ever since Martin O'Neill claimed to be a boyhood SunLun fan however many years ago, they have clamoured for him to be their manager, and now he is, even though its no better than under Bruce, they still won't blame or criticise him. The only difference between the two is that Bruce is a mag kernt, if O'Neil had been from Newcastle he probably wouldn't be still in the job by now
-
Very good performance from the lad, however there has been other games where he has been anonymous throughout. We know he has the ability, he just needs to be more consistent, same for a lot of our players tbh like

The pressure on Pards and the players to win tonight was immense, we did that with relative ease, fair play

That midfield in a 4-4-2 -
Players like Joey Barton have went from being hated, to being loved and back again. It is always possible for players to redeem themselves with the fans. The difference here is that Barton always gave 100% and he cared about the club and the fans, even though he had problems off the pitch. Ranger on the other hand is lazy and acts like he couldn't care less, seemed quite happy to collect his wages in the reserves, rather than be pushing to break in to the first team.

Hear the commentators shock when simmo got the ball in the opposition half man
-
Why the fuck was nobody trying to follow in from that chance ba had before, sammy was the only one near him and he was standing flat footed

The last few pages man just caught up

My least favourite footballing cliche. When you get a good manager, then try to keep him for 10+ years. Unless Ashley is mates with Martinez, Jol or some other decent coach and both parties are willing to work harmoniously it's all a moot point though. We're stuck with Pardew, no point twisting to nothing so we have to stick until Ashley goes, becomes mates with a better coach or kicks Pardew out of the regime (which we're a million miles away from IMO). I didn't agree with the 8 year contract that we gave pardew, not the fact he got an extension, just the 8 years. We have to give him time to stabilize this club, we have went from manager to manager and that clearly has not worked IMO.
-
It has been embarrassing how many managers we have had in the last decade or so, stability is something we need or we will always struggle to stay a top team season in season out
-
This season was always going to be difficult, because we did so well last year and probably did better than anybody expected, myself included. The only way we were going to remain a top 5 team was if we invested heavily due to the extra number of games in Europe, and i think we all knew that wasn't going to happen. Pards has just signed an 8 year contract, the club obviously have a long term plan for where they expect us to be in the coming seasons. It will take time for us to establish ourselves regularly as a top team, but i am sure if we give them time we could still achieve this. Pards deserves time to get it right and i still fully support him.
-
That right there, that's it, that's Pardew's footballing philosophy.
-
Dont really blame pards too much tbh, the team he picked was more than capable of winning today. The players have bottled it, as soon as we went behind the heads went down and we were fucked...
-
Dont even like football anyway
