It was a brilliant goal no doubt about that. Having said that he hasn't done much else since he has been here, the jury is still out for this lad. I am sure with time he will improve and adapt to this league much better. It certainly doesn't help that he has been played in different positions like, don't even think Pardew seems sure where his best position is right now.

Tav looks a canny player, poor clearing header for their second goal and a couple of silly passes. Not bad though considering hes naturally a centre half, very positive display

My only complaint about him when he was playing here, was that he used to try and play the ball out of defence in dangerous areas/situations, rather than just booting it to safety. It looked good when it came off, but wasnt worth the risk most of the time.
