Where is the option for 0?

On tonight's evidence: Burnley look like a team pulling the right direction and can see them grinding out the results needed to survive. Watford look horrific going forward and defending, I cannot see them getting out of it. Leeds look a hot mess and are leaking goals all over the shop, not sure what to expect but Bielsa needs to work some magic. My brief flirtation with idea of Palace getting sucked into things has also ended abruptly - enough decent attacking outlets to see themselves well safe. Still as confident as I can be that we will steer clear of it with relative ease. 2 probably.

Obviously it is ideal if the 3 teams below us get as few points from their remaining games as possible but my feeling is that Watford and Burnley are capable of putting some results together. On recent evidence we are performing to a higher level than the teams directly above us and I think that reality might not have fully sunk in yet but we should be aiming to get ahead of the ones above us rather than purely maintain our position above the ones below us. Also said it a few times but I think Palace are the ones being most overestimated in the relegation betting odds and they could be in big trouble in a few games time.

Burnley and Leeds losing is obviously the ideal scenario but not too bothered about Watford result, Palace would be within touching distance if they lose and if we win against Brentford then mid table suddenly starts to look very achievable - we have got a definite edge on the other teams hovering above relegation zone in terms of confidence/momentum and provided there are no more injuries to key players then we really should be looking up the table instead of down.

Burnley are/were as low down table on account of having played so few games as much as anything else, they've been hard enough to beat all season but have struggled to win games. Also don't buy the idea that we've necessarily strengthened them, Wood had supposedly scored double figures in last few seasons because Burnley played to his strengths, but the 6ft6 Dutch shithouse they’ve signed is definitely better because he has looked decent in a handful of games (where they have also played to his strengths).

Relegation probabilities based on current Betfair Exchange odds: Norwich: 87% Watford: 74% Burnley: 57% Brentford: 22% Leeds: 22% Newcastle: 17% Everton: 17% Palace: 4% Villa: 1% I voted Norwich/Brentford/Palace Think Norwich are unquestionably doomed but can see Watford and/or Burnley putting a few results together and potentially getting out of it. Even if they do, still not massively worried for our fate as enough faltering teams above us and lots of them playing each other in coming weeks. Brentford look to be unraveling fairly quickly and remains to be seen how they will react to being bogged down in relegation scrap, hopefully we can beat them next and I could see them dropping down rapidly. Palace flattering to deceive for me, play some nice football and have some decent attacking options but have been largely shite away from Selhurst and look powder puff at back, jury still out on Viera and think he might not be experienced or pragmatic enough to turn things round - next two games against Watford and Burnley are massive for them.

Were -9 pre Leeds I think and don't gain anything for home win against Everton

Palace don't come out very well on the TheOther14 baseline tracker as it stands so unless they improve from somewhere then reasonable to expect them to drop further (points are deducted for any points lost at home to "non big 6 teams" and points are gained for any points at "non big 6 teams" away or against "big 6 teams" home or away) https://twitter.com/Other14The/status/1491534684605534212

A good night generally. Upcoming fixtures not bad for us either with Norwich having a couple of highly probable losses coming up and Palace next four being Brentford/Chelsea/Watford/Burnley, there's not too many scenarios where we come out particularly badly - especially if we can get points off Villa/West Ham before going to Brentford.
-
Class on his day but those days much fewer and far between these days. He's nowhere near as widely liked by Palace fans as he once was, used to be their talisman.
-
Zaha gone at the game and Palace are shite
-
Norwich are going to be dropping back down so enough, I don't think they can maintain this. But Palace do look shite here, they've accumulated a lot of points at home against weak teams and Viera is looking increasingly lost to me, reckon they are bang in the relegation fight in a few weeks time
-
Some textbook when good Bielsa goes bad this
-
Fairly end to end stuff this Villa match
-
Mental challenge from the Brentford defender to give that pen away
-
Zaha looks so gone at the game, hard to get away with his attitude when the ability has gone south
-
Palace play Brentford next too so more or less guaranteed at least one of them gets dragged into it if Norwich win and Brentford don't get any unlikely points off City tonight. We've got momentum and they're in decline, the more teams in the quagmire the better. Still prefer a Palace win though
-
Didn't take long lol. Said in other thread that can easily see Palace getting drawn into the relegation scrap so not convinced a Norwich win is a total disaster.
-
Feel that Norwich are going to beat Palace. Palace going to need Zaha/Ayew coming back to improve them but they've been shite away generally.

He's been doing well lately but he's still a liability when the chips are down and it will take a lot to convince me otherwise. Was a shocking tackle, there were a couple of little needly incidents leading up to it which the crowd had reacted to and he got stupidly carried away imo, away from home that's definitely a red more often than not. One positive is that he's becoming more sellable if he keeps playing like this I suppose.

We were never much shorter than a shade of odds on for all of January pretty much. Current odds of 9/4-5/2 would make us a great bet to go down if the 6/10 and 7/10 scores on here are to be believed.
-
He is definitely struggling at the moment and he is never going to be a long term solution but I think he has been playing a more important role in the team than people are willing to give him credit for. He gives us a focal point in attack and even if a lot of the headers he wins are relatively inconsequential it prevents the opposition easily getting control of errant long balls and bringing it out on the floor easily, most importantly he helps to create a bit more space for ASM to work in. If ASM stays fit, I think we will generally find a way to score even if Wood is not doing the scoring.
-
I like him a lot, he is never going to set the world alight but he gives it 100% every time and does the basics well. Will need to be upgraded on in the medium to long term but for the time being we need characters like him in the team, as mentioned above he also looks to have quickly developed a good understanding with Trippier
-
Aye I noticed that on TV, he was desperate to get on for ages

Woke the baby up when that free kick went in, with my shouting (not so she could get up and see the goal)
