I must've watched the extended highlights on Youtube a dozen times already. Loved the celebrations for the second Isak goal at the Gallowgate. There was a lass in a wheelchair with her da, and thoroughly enjoying herself. Brought a tear to my eye. Two players who people attribute to having a "quiet/poor" game - Miggy and Bruno - both actually did very well where it counted. Either were involved in the goals, or made Villa shit themselves with the attacking intent. Everyone was good yesterday. even Burn.

A proper subs bench is a joy to behold.

We should have TV monitors installed on the touchline with still photos showing other teams doing this (and going unpunished). Stick on photos of Cooper and Arteta and their violations on an ipad over there. Same as the "extra time" added on rule. Have a clock in the stands showing when the clock is stopped for injuries, subs etc and for how long. And if they stick on any more time than that for us, then show them up for the hypocrites they are. That one bears a little risk of backfiring though. Need to be sure that the refs egregiously add on much more time for our matches.

That's the way we set up with Trippier (and with Livramento as understudy) - the right fullback is essentially our right-footed "crossing" winger. Hell even Murphy was used in that role the last weekend. Our preferred right-sided forward would then be someone operating in the half-space, who can come inside and get a shot off. And so far, Miggy has been playing that role quite effectively. Sides have cottoned on to his extreme left-footedness though, so someone with more guile, and can play with both feet would be a better replacement for him. I suspect our earlier pursuit of Diaby came about when the Howe "system" for the club hadn't yet been set in stone, and we've since moved on from him as a target, Lord knows who we have in mind as a fitting replacement/cover for Miggy though.

Villa hoarding tricky right wingers like we're hoarding non-tricky left wingers. I'd make a cheeky bid for Philogene-Bidace if they're gonna have two class wingers ahead of him.

Not the finished article just yet, but superb man-marking skills. Sees the ball being passed, onto his man like a shot, not afraid to commit to a standing tackle with his long legs. Would really put us at ease next to Botman.
