Don’t mind him if he came cheap. Midfield cover and could be our Gareth Barry/Milner- type senior citizen player, together with Trips, keep the young uns settled in a long campaign.
-
The issue being Brentford wouldn’t even talk about letting him go until they sign a replacement, no?
-
Guess who Leoni has been linked with…..Liverpool I don’t think I can take another saga .
-
He's swimming in dangerous waters for sure, but doing it legitimately. And a twitter "journalist" probably isn't worth the hassle of making him a martyr. Only way to stick it to him is to prove every one of his weighted "predictions" wrong. Nowadays he literally is being weaponised by clubs and agents to unsettle players. Perhaps a lawsuit if someone like us could be arsed. Most people will find it easier to pay him off, which is what he's banking on.
-
To be fair, the pasta nonce did say that he could be sold, but only well above "market value", whatever that means. He's sold for whatever the club accepts, and that's the "market value". Nonce.

At least the doom started at page 23 and not 223 this time
-
Did Romano get abused by Kevin Keegan as a young'un like? This feels personal now.
-
I love it that every time we are linked to a Milan player, it attracts exactly one really sound Milan poster to this forum.
-
Do we like Antonio Mango? Personally I love his utter dedication to the stats and charts. Thiaw's passing stats surpass Schar's, and he thrives really high up the pitch. Both of which are attributes dear to a "Howe system".
-
He's quick, sticks to his man, heads the ball very well. What's there not to like? Maybe he just needs a change of environment. More importantly, if we get him over the line, at least there's some hope of momentum after the past few weeks of depressing news on the signings front. Sort Isak out once and for all by the weekend and we can move on quickly.
-
This is a good read. He's still very much a work in progress, and his decision-making, particularly in a midfield two, has cost Meelan in several instances. In a midfield three, and under Howe's coaching, he can still be quite capable. Napoli have been linked with him recently, so he's not beyond redemption.

I mean, we could do with a midfielder now, and I wouldn't say no to a carbonara. Surprised to find out he's a Yank. And as we all know...."No thanks to Yanks".
-
Christopher Vivell was from RB Leipzig, now wants a Leipzig player for Man U. Our new "Technical Director" "Suds" Gopaladesikan was from Atalanta, and was responsible for signing Hojlund there......Because of Sesko, Hojlund is now surplus to requirements. It's all coming up Rasmus!
-
He assisted Palmer and scored one against us in a 2-1 loss at theirs, no?
-
"They ONLY WANT Eldon Square!!!"
-
As a third striker, probably better than DCL. Scored 40 goals in 43 games for Al-Hilal . We loan him from Al-Hilal, Osula goes out on loan.
-
Thing is the Scouse have now got a bit of money to burn. So we have to say "he's not for sale this season, at any price.", else the uncertainly will drag on if there is indeed a price tag to him. The ball is in our court to emphatically state our position. Otherwise we will most certainly have no striker other than Osula for the rest of the season.
-
Plus, he's a PSG player. If he'd come cheap, then Liverpool, Manu, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham will swoop in immediately after our bid, match it, and Romano will just say "He ONLY wants [not Newcastle]". Our previous strategy of signing players from Lyon, Sociedad and etc worked for us as we are seen as a "step up" in this regard. PSG to us is a step down. I doubt the rumours in any case. We'd have to see where we go after the Sesko fiasco. Issue a "hands-off" on Isak or move down the "list" (which I am convinced was Pedro, Ekitike, Delap and nee one else, not even Sesko).
-
Tino, Hall, Tripps, Krafth, Burn makes five. We probably have far greater holes to plug this window. Edit to add Targett, and Ashby (if he doesn't go on loan). AndJ. Murphy too if we play wingback.
-
Thought it was 65+15? The 15 must not have been realised. I'd be all over 50 mil, wages depending - he's a 1 in 2 striker even when not starting most of his games for them.
-
Ramos cost PSG 80 million Euros, and is probably on a hefty wedge. He's probably the most "established" of the overseas strikers we've been (tenuously) linked with. Not sure if we can afford him at all.
-
£100 mil with no resale value was exactly what the bald prick Mitchell was banging on about when he said our transfer strategy wasn't fit for purpose tho. Although I'd enjoy them scoring goals for fun in the meantime.
-
Wissa plays for DR Congo, Jackson for Senegal. AFCON means we'd be without either, if we sign both.
