Eto was magnificent to watch in his prime, Drogba always a bit more ugly goals so maybe doesn't get the due, but absolutely unplayable at times.

I suspect they're getting paid to plug them, but maybe that's me being very cynical

The ones branded by Dr Dre or 50 Cent are just more expensive than others because of the brand though. Easily get as good quality as that cheaper if you shop around and go with a good brand like Sennhauser. That said I can't afford much fancy atm, got some reasonable ones for listening to music at computer, and some good in ear earphones for mp3 player.

Only problem with loaning out is if you want players to grow up within an ethos / playing style throughout their development, and equally when dealing with 16 year olds you may be trying to bring up hard to send them off to another part of the country rather

I would have thought Drogba seemed in pretty sharp decline, but he has put in some very good performances out of the blue this season. Still think his age is really showing faster than for some players, and it's a bit unedifying to see a great player trying to imitate what he was, it's not quite Eto off to Anzaki is it. Not sure if his wage demands were going to signifcantly drop to go and play for someone lower down the table or in Bundesliga.

Only a problem because big clubs squat on talent, ruining them often. There need to be significant overhauls in how we bring young players through, but if anything need to limit how many players a club can have, as long as it doesn't put off clubs running proper academies etc

Kwul wanting to play for Ajax some day would surprise me very much. He's from The Hague and has played in the Ado youth setup, so he probably despises Ajax more than anything, as do most people in football outside of Amsterdam. He's said in an interview he was inspired watching Van Der Saar at Ajax, was thinking of that

Krul probably wants to play for Ajax one day, and I don't think they can afford him so I am going to pretend to be not worried about the Totenham's of the world

i dunno think losing De Jong is more about Barry finding more form. Yes think they could go in for Tiote (and given Tiote's penchant for silly cars would expect he'd take the pay rise, maybe a little mean) but I dunno if they'll look for a like for like replacement. Think they more need backup box to box midfielder like Yaya Toure than another defensive midfielder.

Depends which Fulham rock up - the one that turned Arsenal over or the one that got done by a ten man Blackburn. makes sense as Blackburn did Arsenal over too to be fair, but yeah i never know with fulham if they're going to look like a top half team or a bottom half team

Agree but Ancelotti listed him amoung players being touted around. Doubt he'll stay, hope they can replace him

Jeering about Islam at middle eastern players is racist however, as that's an unfair presumption of someone's beliefs based on the colour of their skin. Making fun of someone for being a bit religious is a little unfair, making fun of crazy religious people indeed isn't racist.
