I think (just my gut hah) he's wondering if any of the big prestigous european champions league teams are interested in him. He's good enough for any team imo, but he's also somehow a bit low profile...which hopefully will stay that way.

He probably wants to keep options open. Worrying, but hopefully he'll be happy with the direction we're going in even if we don't make Europe. If not, I as ever would prefer to keep him going and let him leave on a free but doubt Ashley agrees.

I'll trust my eyes when he's playing, we look better and keep the ball on the deck more. yes he's less inclined to be defensive but is a lovely player to watch on the ball and waaaaay less frustrating than Obertan. Our win loss when he plays is about more than him, and perhaps if our record isn't great is because Pardew in games we're losing panics and plays him rather than 'playing it safe'

Hmm think Pardews more of a long ball manager than I'd like but not completely, and think he probably wants to be more direct and get more balls into box rather than over elaborate and just pass it around. I like the directness but we need to control the game and keep the ball when we aren't as sharp in front of goal without Ba
