I can because they do this every year with the PL stuff.

I would agree, although I wouldn't be surprised if they are both sold.
-
Would have been great pre injury, but he probably wouldn't be available then so i suppose that's the point.
-
He didnt spend it tho. He was just asked to coach the s*** they bought. Even if that happened i'm a lot more confident in Rafa to make shit into sunshine tbh He'd probably leave at the very notion of the club buying the players they want mind.

The 4000 mile round trip is a bit too far for me like. That's fine...just don't think people who pay and go should get stick from keyboard supporters. That's fine and all but don't you think it's a bit of a waste to go and be completely quiet? Might as well not go at all tbh. It's a two way street, man. Way too much put on the crowd for an atmosphere. You need to excite people to get them excited. It's so obvious but seems lost on the online crowd. It's not lost on me at all, i completely understand that i still feel like it's a waste of time and money though.

Andre Gomes just isn't very good, no idea how Valencia got so much money for him.

Most people, myself included have steadily been losing said passion for the club for many years now. It's was hanging by a thread before Rafa arrived and likely would all but gone if it didn't happen. I imagine a lot of people feel the same, Rafa has the act of a tissue applied to wound but it didn't really heal properly and still hasn't. -
Anyone but the boring as sin Madrid teams.
-
Not enough to have fallen down the grand canyon though, which is the equivalent required for us to sign him.
-
About the only intelligent thing he's said in his life.

Media says this every time they lose it's quite funny actually. By their logic their "era" has been over 3 or 4 times already. I don't know why people are shocked anyway, they have a great front 3 and fuck all else. I don't care how good your attack is it's nothing without a midfield to support it. It's absolutely no coincidence they have lost the last two years to teams with great defensive ability and organisation, when the attack breaks down the midfield has to restart it and get the forwards into position to do damage and there's no chance of that happening with their current team. Hope Juve or Monaco win it anyway, bored to all hell of the Madrid teams.

There's a mix here IMO, Rafa can obviously have done a lot better in certain cases which i'm sure he'd privately admit himself. But at the same time there's some severely lack of talent in midfield and attack. Only Gayle, Shelvey and Ritchie have been consistently above the rest, the likes of Perez, Mitrovic, Diame and so on have been disappointing and the only ones i'd feel confident about in defence is probably Anita, Clark and Yedlin but even then they have just been "solid" and i'm not sure i feel massively confident about any of them at the next level. There's a significant amount of work to be done whatever happens.
-
Depends entirely if Rafa gets his targets or not.
-
Yeah looks like they are joining in with the 3 at the back stuff.

I'd argue that a flat midfield 4 is probably the issue to begin with, more and more teams are going away from it for a reason. But it's what Rafa wants and it's quite clear no combination in the squad is particularly optimal. Ignoring the Rafa and tactics talk though, i feel like we have 3 players in midfield and attack who are above Championship level which are Richie, Gayle and Shelvey and i don't feel massively confident about them at the next level. Everyone else in the team have proven across the season they are just not good enough as those 3 players save us time and time again.
