It can in a sense, as good as Neymar and Suarez are they can't create from deep like Messi can and everything they both do is in the box. Their entire team is built around that ok Rakitic and Iniesta are not going to do much in terms of creating for the forwards but it's ok because Messi will. Their entire team is disjointed without him, he's not just their best goalscorer but he's also their best playmaker and if you stop Messi providing for the team they are quite toothless and pretty much everything goes through him.

They should be - kept 5 clean sheets when he was playing, then shipped 6 in 2 since he got injured. Not just him, but Mangala as well. Should be mentioned that towards the end of last season they ended the season very strong defensively without Kompany and most City fans at the time seemed to have credited Mangala for that.

First half aye, but second half was no different to any other game against a big team this season tbh. Unlike a lot of people i don't believe Haidara has been bad defensively since Southampton if anything everybody's favorite Janmaat has been worse at the defensive end. But Mbabu has earned his spot until proven otherwise after that performance aye.

Hazard is overrated as fuck by a lot of people but he's miles better than Ben Arfa tbh. But Ben Arfa was never unquestionably one of the best players in the league like Hazard is and arguably a top 10 player in the world.

On the goals thing, i think it's unfair to to judge at the moment as he's only started two games ( ignoring Arsenal as he got sent off immediately) and in both games we hardly supported him at all for different reasons. I'd like to see consistent game time with us actually supporting him before i judge on how he'll do in front of goal.
