  1. Not sure why anyone is surprised by this tbh, look at the team out there hardly any of them are particularly exciting.
  2. Yup all the intelligence and ability is on the bench
  3. I'd understand his stand point for most of pre season but in the final pre season game a week before the season starts? nah.
  4. Aye the last pre season game is usually we you pick your strongest team, it's definitely a bit strange.
  5. No fucking clue what he's doing, but i can pretty much guarantee De Jong will start against Southampton. No idea about the rest mind but De Jong on the bench in a premier league game when fit isn't happening.
  6. Why are the others not playing today then? Mitrovic short of fitness, fair enough. Mbemba - who knows. No reason for Aarons, Perez and De Jong not playing although they all did midweek - that the reason? No idea, i just can't see a scenario where De Jong doesn't start.
  7. No way in hell that's the team that will start next week
  8. It's not, he's a CM who is inferior to Wijnaldum and Sissoko. What's the point of forcing him into a position he's not very good at ( DM) and completely imbalance the midfield when we have actual DMs and then free up the other players? It's really not that hard to understand, if he could play DM to a decent standard and not run around like a headless chicken instead of holding his position fair enough but he doesn't. I don't disagree with anything you and others have said, but it's still OTT hate. He should be a backup CM to Wijnaldum going forward. I'd rather Sissoko go in there in the event Wijnaldum can't play in a particularly game and see an actual attacker where Sissoko is going to play.
  9. Probably not but i'm quite confident in 10 of those players being right though.
  10. Aye CM in a 433, broke from midfield and scored goals basically.

  12. Outside of no Colback it's exactly what i expected tbh.
  13. I assume that Wijnaldum will play CM and Sissoko on the wing though?
  14. That's true but it's also irrelevant to whether he starts or not because it's pretty obvious De Jong will start behind Mitrovic or Cisse. I think it's very relevant because the likelihood of a player starting a game depends on the position they play. Well considering two of the positions mentioned are likely taken by other players not really.

  16. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/real-madrid/11777617/Barcelona-and-Real-Madrid-broadcast-rights-close-to-moving-to-BT-Sport-from-Sky-Sports.html Does Sky have anything left ?
  17. There's nothing special about any of the teams below the top 6, anyone could finish top 8 realistically it isn't that hard. Carvers utter ineptitude has made people forget how bang average the rest of the league below Spurs and Liverpool is and hell even they are not all that really. Which is why it's so frustrating seeing the lack of ambition it's really not as competitive and as strong as Sky etc will want you to believe. You would think Everton, Swansea and Southampton are Arsenal level they way they are talked about at times.
  18. We was only in a relegation scrap last year because of Carver, before he took charge we were nowhere near.
  19. Some really do underestimate how much shit there is in the league some times times, we'll be fine and hopefully we won't be bored to tears in the process.
