i think we do tbh, majority of the players you named are DM's...... Outside of Cabaye we lack any sort of creativity in the middle well we do have Marveaux too but the mere fact we will rely on him for creativity till Jan or Feb says enough about the squad. I would get one personally although Cb and a forward are more important its still an area were we lack for me. Lallana is more of a winger with creativity though but none the less i do think we lack creativity in the middle....anita-bigi-tiote rang the alarm bells for me we cant be using that on a consistent basis as creative wise it offers zilch.

To be fair to them, we have never regularly challenged for honours since the 50s whereas they always regularly challenge. My brother in law supports them, season ticket holder etc. and he wants Wenger out and so do thousands of others no doubt. For me, he has lost his way as a manager and has failed to mould Arsenal into a winning side. You can argue about lack of funds etc. but they still spend good money. He forever buys the wrong player though or rather the wrong type for the position he buys for and that lets him down badly. Said at the start of the season that Gervinho is still rubbish and that Giroud won't get 10 goals. He's not going to get 3 goals between now and the end of the season?

Not to mention his form hasn't exactly been spectacular since leaving.... even playing under a style that suits him at West Ham he doesn't look anywhere near the same player.

Agreed, that's one thing about our team though i don't see many divers in the team or maybe i'm blinded by love I don't think we have anyone who constantly throws themselves on the floor but Jonas does make the most of a foul, I don't mind this so much because he has been fouled but it's still a little cringeworthy to see. Players like Suarez or Bale who don't even get a touch but are flinging themselves down are the ones who need action taken against them. These incidents need to be looked back on and massive suspensions handed out. Sometimes it's hard to be completely certain but both of those have dived with absolutely no doubt what they were up to this season. They need to be made an example of.

Exactly we have been crying out for 3 CM's all season and look at the result not just any old 3 CM's either.... a destroyer, a link between defence and midfield and a link between midfield and attack. With 2 of them being technically gifted and good passers of the ball i think it would be crazy to change those 3 CM's unless injuries happen until Cabaye is back.... they gave us control and creativity something we have been sorely lacking. I was happy with Cisse and Ba as far as movement and link play goes as well i wouldn't change a thing apart from Hatem coming back in for Jonas and Perch in for Williamson.

The whole reason we looked good last night because of the 3 in midfield going back to the old Ba off Cisse routine is asking for trouble. Would definitely stick with the same front 6 in the same positions except maybe Ben Arfa on the right and Cisse on the left ( roaming and interchanging with Ba). Pardew might want Jonas instead of Cisse and honestly in certain games thats fine too but if we want similar performances to last night then i would stick with Marveaux inbetween Tiote and Anita and who ever the Central striker is until Cabaye comes back. No one else in the squad can do what Marveaux did last night other than Cabaye and he's out till February so i would definitely make him a permanent fixture until then.

I would definitely replace Williamson with Perch tbh.

Balotelli is overrated to all hell i'm not one to go on about Balo because he's Johnny Foreigner and thus he's rubbish but seriously even his talent is not as good as some people go on. He's not even the best Italian striker around at the moment for me.

I would usually agree but without Cabaye we have absolutely no one else to play the role he played last night.... I'd keep him for the weekend, if we had more attacking midfielders capable of playing that role in front of Tiote and Anita then yeah but we don't.

It's a mixture of formation and mentality.... you can't have one without the other they go hand in hand. If we played the system we played last night and hoofed we would have probably lost, but as it is Pardew saw sense for once. Changing the system and bringing Marveaux in was clearly a big reason for the improvement in performance though.

Majority of teams we play in December are not really direct and use target men to hold the ball up so i'd rather Perch play tbh. Better passing from the back into midfield too but Pards will probably go with Williamson
