Ferguson has a knack of taking technically gifted players and train it out of them for the trade off that you will be more effective. Can't argue with the results mind.

Not really but with his clause and refusal to sign a new contact( apparently) it appears his long term future is not here so we may as well get used to the idea and consider how we are going to replace him. Personally would love if it if he signed a new contract and stayed for rest of his career but that doesn't look like happening so we may as well get used to it.

the first one was straight down the middle (not back post) and i can't remember any challenge. the only back post header either has scored was cisse v liverpool. the second goal wasn't outmuscling anyone, he read it better and was there first. If we go back to my original post on the matter i talked about crosses and flicks on which regards to long ball.... Ba is better at all that in my view. Anyway i'll leave it at that i stated my opinion on it and that's about all there is to it really.

Why does scoring goals change anything in regards to Defoe anyway? he's always scored goals all that was said about him is that he's overall game is piss poor and it is. I have seen nothing this season to suggest that he's improved in that regard of course it don't matter while he's scoring but i don't think anyone denied he was a fantastic finisher just that he's not a very good footballer and honestly he isn't.

Maybe so but i'd argue Ba is much more adept than Cisse at scoring from crosses especially deep crosses where he has to beat a defender in the air or/and outmuscle him that's not Cisse's game.
