    Masterplank i like that
  2. Usually i would agree but he's hardly played in the last month so it wouldn't kill him to play again.

    Honest challenge marra.
  4. Might explain why we have been linked in the media with more attacking midfielders, i rejected the idea at first but when you think about it then it starts to make a little bit more sense.
  5. I don't want to see Anita-Bigi-Tiote midfield ever again it's far too defensive and devoid of any creativity there needs to be balance brought into the equation and at least one attacking player in the trio.

it is an issue but the bigger issue is Pardew is not giving them enough chances, he's only willing to start Fergie and Sammi in the europa, these type of players needs their chances in the prem and deserve it considering how they perform every time they come on. It's unfair to say they cant create enough chances when they haven't had the opportunity.
  7. I'd accept what he is if he played for us probably But nah he's a c*nt of a person if he played for us i wouldn't see him any differently as a person than i do now. He's not like Bellamy was where he was our c*nt etc etc he's just a c*nt in general.

The problem with benching Cisse atm is that as talented as the likes of Fergie, Sammy etc etc are they are not exactly goal threats or something defences are going genuinely scared about. I agree that based on form then he probably should. ( even though we are not exactly playing in a way that suits him) Problem is we don't have any wide players who are actually going to do what Pienaar and Mirallas do for Everton for example, this is the issue atm.

It is but Ba will never play on the left again that much is obvious. We really have two options....A. We get a Wide player with a goal threat and rotate Ba and Cisse for the central striking spot B. Sell one of them still get that wide player and a back up to who ever stays. It's quite obvious Cisse out wide obviously doesn't work and it's also quite obvious Cisse and Ba as a front 2 doesn't work the only formula that has proven to work is Ba out wide and Cisse through the middle and it seems Ba doesn't want to do that role anymore so we find ourselves struggling with a working formula that fits the both of them and doesn't effect the rest of the team. I vote for option A but Pardew will have to be exceedingly clever to pull that off the longer this goes on the phrase " This Town aint big enough for the both of us" comes to mind hopefully we can find a happy medium which suits Ba, Cisse and the team because at the moment it isn't working.
  10. Exactly i don't even think it was that great of a goal and further more we should have dealt with it. Cabayes was miles better, the build up, Ben Arfa's run and cross and Cabaye's excellent finish it shits all over it IMO.

Agree in the main although as i have said a few times i felt we was too negative once we got the lead sitting back on a lead is one thing but we was sitting far too deep IMO. None the less it's a good point and as Elliotman says lets see where we are in mid December as we will have a good idea where abouts we will probably finish at the end.
  12. Why does it have to be instead of Jonas? we have played 3 in the middle last 2 games if anything Sammy would have to take Cisse's position if you want him in the starting line up. I still think he's best as a impact player tbh.
  13. Loss of Colo undermines us at any time tbh but i'd think we can get away with no Colo against West Ham and Swansea than 2 of the top 4 or 5 for example.
  14. Well if Colo was going to miss 3 games through suspension we couldn't hand hand picked a better time to do it tbh. 2 home games against mid table sides and an away game against a relegation struggler, if we can't beat these teams without Colo then we desperately need reinforcement in January. ( not like we didn't know that anyway)

In thought we was far too negative after going in front and we asked for trouble but other than that i can't complain too much and i definitely can't complain with the result. As i said the next 5 fixtures are all very winnable lets take stock and see where we are after those games as we could easily be in a very good position. I don't think Cisse can play out wide mind, Ba can but he doesn't seem to want to so i think in the long term we might need to try and get a wide player with an eye for goal.

None of them have been very impressive it's what this stage of the season is all about staying with the pack and put a run together in the new year. Fergie has won countless trophies doing exactly that.
  17. Honestly i'm more worried about Nolan's off the ball runs than i am of Carroll, reckon Willo and Taylor will deal with him.

Hard facts AND a hint of sarcasm. OK, hard facts. We've got 14 points and are sitting in 10th place after 10 games, last season after 10 games we had 22 points and were 3rd in the league. The fixtures were also a lot easier last season, lets see where we are in the next 5 games because quite frankly it's the easiest run of games we have had all season.

I'd take that The main reason Villa fans look at MON in that way is because he left them in a financial s*** hole where as Pardew obviously wont. Your seriously going to tell me that you wouldn't take consistent top 6 every season and Europe football every year irrelevant of whether the football is dross or not. Yes it's frustrating but it's a results business at the end of the day and quite frankly if we finish top 6 and qualify for EL again i won't give 2 shits how crap the football is.

The service he had was abysmal yes he was bad but i don't expect to see anything like last season until we actually start controlling football matches and creating chances for our front line.
  21. Tbh he should not be playing as deep as he does if you look at other teams equivalent of HBA they always have them around 30 yards from goal not in his own half. I thought he was good today in the circumstances though always looked like doing something when he had possession and worked hard.
  22. Not bothered about all that, what does concern me is how negative we was after taking the lead, We was asking for trouble and while the goal should have been dealt with sitting back as far back as we did was asking for trouble. None the less it's a decent point and with the next 5 games being quite favorable this is the time of the season where we need to start winning games and climb the table after all despite the indifferent performances we are still only 3 points off 4th.
  23. it wasn't even goal of the game Exactly Cabaye's goal was miles better i don't think it was that good of a goal.... Colo and Krul should have dealt with it there's nothing special about it IMO. Anything to wank over Liverpool though.
