Yup, he's fucked us. Give it another week to persuade the top choices and then work down the list unfortunately.
-
If another week made the difference between Martinez and one of the top targets then I'd wait. Don't agree with momentum and positive uplift sentiments when you've got a long term strategy - momentum and positivity will ebb and flow and then you're left with the underlying reality. Look at OGS and the impact he had initially Vs the present. Unfortunately we're left in a shit position thanks to SB and the horrific start so they may need to be a bit more pragmatic....though hopefully not as far as Martinez

Good, off you fuck then.

Had a very realistic dream that Wilder got the job and the forum went in to meltdown. House duly remortgaged and bet placed. I'll give you losers a wave from space
-
I'm ok with it, just the timing is lolz..

I'm off Ken Haag since that highly strung fellow told us he was unproven as Dutch football is shit.
-
If whoever we get in can't overturn a 6 point deficit within 26-28 games with a £100m January spend (all estimates) then they were the wrong choice frankly and a game or 2 wouldn't make much difference.
-
I don't dislike looking at/listening to/or knowing he exists so he's an upgrade in that regards.
-
Especially as it's profit and not cash. Any transfers etc will be depreciated over 5 or so seasons so that's a huge amount in reality. Assuming new sponsorship in place by year 3 to offset then we're golden.

No one gave a shit when he was sacked off elsewhere and he got equal abuse from at least Villa. Fact of the matter is that we're a big deal now so we're newsworthy, for better or worse. Love it myself

Sounds like he had them in training for 3 days running, the absolute Hitler.

Personally I thought it was a cop out way of asking people to stop as it looks like sportwashing in action and it provokes negative reactions whether it's harmless or not. I suspect they want to let shit like this die down... ----------- SNP MP John Nicolson, who sits on the Digital, Culture, Media and Sport committee, said he felt for the widow of murdered journalist Jamal Khashoggi. He said during a hearing: "I'm trying to imagine what it must be like to be Jamal Khashoggi's widow, when her husband has been chopped up and murdered.... and she sees numpties dancing around in cod-Arabic dresses outside Newcastle United. That must be heart-rending. "It made me, as an outsider watching it, think there was nobody who could have taken over that club - no matter the level of evil of the person who took over - that would have resulted in anything other than celebration for large numbers of Newcastle supporters. "That's a kind of sickness at the heart of football, isn't it?" --------------

Awww, did you run out of fingers and toes?
-
I guess some of it will be infrastructure rather than transfer related etc
-
I wish he'd gone before, but serving this shit up in his 1000th game after he cried to his son to back him up does sweeten the disappointment. All eyes on us today so no hiding
-
He's kind of right to be fair, most are all as shit as he is

Nah, anyone coming in would have clocked it and negotiated against the purchase price. Don't believe the 70% Vs 100% personally, also think the 8m is suspect - they'll be some clauses in there. The 3 years will have been to protect Ashley form losing his human shield as much as anything. It's been a week and he's insignificant really. Anyone who's going to let him ruin our 1st game under new owners need to calm down. It's how we get a bad rep. Imo of course etc etc
-
I meant from the owners perspective more than anything
-
That being said, if the club does any kind of 1000 game celebration for him then I'm fucking kicking off.

You've missed the players out there. Staveley spoke to Lascelles herself and we all know Bruce is largely popular with the players. They're in limbo at the mo and probably know some of their futures are uncertain - keeping the coaching staff for a couple of weeks, who they've worked with for the last few years, would normally be "good management". No point having a great atmosphere if we get twatted by spurs cos the players are out of sorts....be pretty shit momentum. Guess it depends what's most important to people. edit - Wahey, NPW Bruce fanboi (I'm not, just won't let him ruin my buzz)
-
They're more bothered about booing Bruce for one or 2 games rather than celebrating Ashley gone and an exciting new long term era for the club? That's a bit of a shame really.
