This sort of shit annoys me. Any potential manager coming in has hours of football to watch and analyse the players plus I'm sure access to the training stats. They go in eyes wide open and if they fail its because they're shite or they didn't bother doing any due diligence so didn't realise the scale of the job. Either way, no sympathy. Lets be honest, Bruce probably fails on both of those points.

Burnley were operating on fine lines and always thought they were the biggest threat. Our injuries worry me but think we have enough now to move away and think Burnley will also. Leeds or Brentford to fill the last slot I reckon.

We'll get £10m for him from a champ team in a couple of years. If he scores goals that keeps us up then that 10m outlay will be a fucking bargain.

It's not an excellent point really, the clubs might try and get rid for a fee but if the players wait until the summer they get a huge sign-on bonus instead so a lot of them will be happy to wait until then regardless of the clubs position. Plus the players may have no interest in joining us in our current position.

It's hard to know whether we are in for these players or it's just agent/journo BS. Take Digne for example, we might have enquired and been told he's not personally interested and that was that, but it gets picked up and blown out of proportion. We probably didn't even have had the opportunity to "sell the project" face to face to him so blaming the club isn't necessarily fair. Suspect this is the case for a lot of players based on the current situation.

A 32 year old Woods would still likely go for 10m or so to a Champ team in a couple of years. It's not like the 17m now is totally sunk.

He's coaching and setting the team up to how he ultimately wants it to be. I'm sure he's aware now where the deficiencies are so I guess he has a choice... 1. change to a more conservative system to try and shore up/protect the defence. Potential short term gain but possibly a backwards step. 2. Persevere and hopefully if we do get early signings in it'll all click in to place quicker.

Not sure why he'd suddenly replace Schar with Clark otherwise. Wish he'd just tell us to be honest cos if it was tactical then my concern levels would be elevated
