2 things irritating me profusely yesterday: 1.) Bleating on about how it's the last 6 games that has upset the fans. And the rest Alan. 2.) The fact that he's congratulating the players and himself on what he obviously sees as a managerial/coaching master stroke by beating Cardiff City at home, who are comfortably the worse team in the league. As if that win makes everything all right....yes, we are that simple. Hnnggghhhhhhhhhhhh

My favourite bit from the guardian... If he did get fined by the club for an unauthorised interview, would be brilliant to get a donation from the fans to pay for it. Say £10k fine, £1 donation.....surely he has enough backers for that!
-
Too true, the guys who would actually benefit by having him playing next to or behind them. Must be frustrating having the ball lobbed over your head!
-
Wow, the chronicle are never getting back in to the inner circle...they're crucifying the club! Has anyone tried the 'Alan Pardew random excuse generator'?? I did late for work and the excuse was 'We hope to get some transfers over the line' Pards has unleashed a bit of a monster. Bet the club press secretary loves him
-
Has anyone actually blamed local press before?? To be honest, I found the arrogance of the club a little unsettling when they banned them originally and even more so that they still expect them to tiptoe round the facts. Why the f*** should they you utter bellends. Though the thought of Pards just ignoring them like a petulant child is a little amusing
-
It is a little. I don't hate him as such, hate what he's doing to the team etc and the fact he's of full of sh1t. But if I hated everyone that was incompetent or a bullsh1tter then I wouldn't like anyone
-
Pards has even turned you against your own username

You might be the same people my mate mentioned like, but if not more the merrier. Yeah, hopefully there's a few and the away crowd verbally abuse him for the first time in unison. Although our luck we will fluke a win and get portrayed as tools by the media . Not the point like, something needs done for them to take notice. Yeah or become his excuse if we lose. "A small minority of the fans was edgy and this affected the lads so they couldn't play to my highly organised, attacking game plan" He wins every time :'(

People are mental here. You get chastised for either being blinded by your love for HBA so he can do no wrong or being a sheep that laps up Pardews every word. Maybe people just have different opinions about what they want from a player and can formulate these using their own logic and experiences of supporting/watching football for xxx amount of years. For me, against any team outside of the top 5 he should be an automatic starter. If he gave a shit and kept himself in shape so he could help track back if necessary then he starts against the top teams as well. If he acts like a child so doesn't keep himself in shape cos he's not being played then if he's benched that's the life of a professional footballer and he needs to sort his attitude.

Pards has played a blinder here again. Stunning man - management; the way he got that assist out of Hatem! Somewhere in Newcastle there is a hotel room splattered with self-congratulatory jizz.
-
I want him to succeed and it's a clear failing by management/coaches that they can't find a system to utilise a player of his standard. Fair enough if we were romping other teams and in the top 5 but we aren't. Some of our football is utter dire and I can't believe that HBA couldn't improve that somehow. However, he clearly isn't helping himself. There's not many premier league teams nowadays that can have flair players who aren't required to track back and we aren't one of them. He needs to learn that and sort his fitness probs out. The other players must get frustrated as most of them don't have half his talent but probably make twice the effort.
-
Yes, he has brainwashed the squad. Or, HBA can be lazy both during the game which (allegedly) has annoyed the players and also in keeping in shape.
-
I dunno, was easy to blame Pards but if it's true the players also turned on him, as well as he clearly isn't making the effort in training (well documented chubbiness), then he is obviously a significant part of the issue. Shame.
-
Galling to watch that. For some of the better goals you could see him look exactly at the spot he scored in before hitting it, no lashing and hoping just composed finishing.
-
My favourite is: Man U-shited
-
If this isn't enough evidence to start him and maybe even Gouff next game then there is no saving Pardew. Attacking options.
-
There is no indication that he's actually refused to play. Why would we dock his wages? Did I imply that? He didn't play Monday and is unlikely to play today due to his own reasons. Anyway, bimpy474 has a fair point. Why do you want to dock his wages then? Because, as I f***ing said, the reason he didn't play was down to his own reasons. How can you know that? Pardew may have chosen not to play him because he thought his head might not be in it. Or because they want to cash in and didn't want to risk injury. No one knows so calling someone a c*** is pretty dumb.
-
Might as well rest him, not like its gonna make any difference today
-
It's Pards I feel sorry story for. 3 months of meticulous planning for this game ruined because Cabaye had his head turned.
-
Yup, making it waay too easy for them. We need someone who can hold the ball up and wait for the midfield to come up. Time for the big man???
-
Spot on. Fair enough, we're gonna get bummed but there have been good signs in our play. We're keeping it on the deck, looking to pass through them, Ben Arfa looks well up for it. There's some positives to take from this for sure. Agreed, just a shame we had to start against City.
-
It's the indiscipline that irritates me. Debuchy, mbiwa and Taylor. It's bizarre.
-
Christ, Cisse is pony.
-
He probably wasn't a Pards signing and we all know he was brought in January rather than the summer due to the struggles. So in effect, Pards maybe hadn't planned for him and is obviously now trying to decide where his best position it. That being said, Sissoko made his attributes pretty clear from the get go and ideally, if its to be a 442, against weaker opposition/at home he should replace Tiote. IMO of course.

Not sure why people get so wound up about Wonga. You borrow £100 for a week and it costs you about £13. A direct debit fails or you go overdrawn for 1 day and you can be charged £20 for each one by your bank. For sending out an automated letter that probably cost them 10p. In the dark days of my misspent youth I accumulated over £2k worth of bank charges for failed direct debits and going over my overdraft by less than £50. Completey my fault so didnt complain but Managed to reclaim 75% of it a few years back which was fun. Know which one I think is worse.
