Clearly what we're doing could be done much better, but 4-3-3 still remains the ideal solution. I'm not totally convinced Pardew is capable of what is required, TBH.

Think for now it's clear he has more time and space as a RB. Ideally in time he'll grow into the mf role. Tricky in the PL for midfielders with all the axe wielding that goes on in. He hasn't been given a huge amount of opportunities in midfield, mind, and he did do well last week at Anfield. I'd rather start him in midfield than Bigi.

Nolan, Carroll and Allardyce will all want to do well, I can see West Ham being up for it. I was referring to how Wigan and Swansea play, and how that allowed them to expose West Ham's weaknesses in midfield. I do think we'll struggle, tho.
