It's the same night all the french lads were photographed drinking in the Quayside. They were probably all told to go out and enjoy themselves after a great win, all had sunday off. Whether you're out until 2am, or 4am, if you're in good shape you'll recover from a hangover pretty quickly. I don't have an issue with him being out drinking.

Can't believe the amount of people saying things like ''he got what was coming to him'', and generally believing 'eye-witness' accounts in the fucking sun. Does anybody actually think Simpson was giving it the biggun to two bigger blokes? Do you think he started it? Sounds to me like he's been picked on, because he's a fairly well known footballer. (And he has a famous girlfriend). Apart from anything he's been a good pro, and always struck me as a decent person. What he was doing out that late on the razz is another story, but at the end of the day he wouldn't have been knocked out if he wasn't a 'famous' footballer.

First home game of the season i'll be missing due to moving away from Newcastle. Hopefully this will mean we win 3-0. On a serious note, a lot of my chelsea mates have told me they think it'll be a draw - their confidence is low, hopefully we can come out fighting.
