Suspect that's what the management are reckoning on as well. And if it doesn't happen?
-
How many full days training were we doing when had EUROPA League games then? Two? Little wonder we have no shape.
-
No doubt at all. For the last 15 minutes they really just passed it around. Were probably embarrassed.
-
Apart from potentially staying up? Who realistically comes in now? A stop gap? It's just not going to happen. Maybe it should - but it won't. Then we go down. Maybe we will. I think if we were going to make a change after today's result it would have happened by now. Or at least some rumours of an emergency board meeting or the like. He's staying, unfortunately.

He's gone already I reckon. There's just little point in making a change so late in the day.

Looked genuinely close to tears in that nufcTV interview.

Probably a 1-1. With Pardew preaching that the players have "reacted fantastically to last weeks loss".
-
You only have to look down the road at Di Canio, allegedly working until midnight. Players in extra early and working to the bone to get things right. Is Pardew doing the same?

hate hearing this from ST holders. I'm somewhat sheltered since I'm not in or around Newcastle. Must be murder actually attending most/all the home games and having to live in the city. It's tough. Took my youngest brother (12) today for a change - at 5-0 we had to have a little chat about taking the s*** with the good (as just about everyone else around us walked out). He's seen us lose before, but never in that manner. Stayed until the final whistle, even though he looked upset - sure he will thank me for it one day. Incidentally, for a few years he was a casual Liverpool fan - seem to be quite popular amongst his age group. Wonder what was going through his head today.

If we go down, I just don't know what I will do. Don't get me wrong, I can take the s***. Had a ST in the Championship, stayed until the end today etc. But I mean, it will be just the last few years of progress totally destroyed. Today's probably the first day I have ever entertained even the idea that we could, feasibly go down. And its a very real possibility, I'm very worried. We won't win another game this season, will be relying on Wigan to do us a favour.

Gah, just back in from the pub now. I know Llambias said that Pardew could be afforded a bad season, but surely this is a horrendous one? Has to go, unfortunately I don't think sacking him now will do much good - can imagine us making the change in mid-June.
-
Santon, for a large part of the year has been solid. But that said, even he's been pretty dodgy at times.
-
Nicollin hates us doesn't he? Would probably quote us double.

Just plain and simply: What would you say to supporters who no longer feel you are cut out for the job?
-
Is there a list / record of all the injuries we have had this season somewhere?
-
I'm not to sure there is a huge anti-Pardew feeling among the fanbase, most O see of it is on here. I think there is more so on here. Out in about in town people are quietly murmuring. People don't want to rock the boat and start shouting from the terraces given the position we are in.
-
Do you think he realises the extent of the resentment, that's coming from the fanbase? I'm not massively disheartened with a draw, but for him to come out and say its a good point after a tough week etc.
-
Probably less likely after today tbh. Barring something miraculous happening in Wigan's remaining fixtures, we are near enough safe. Absurd that it has come to this mind.
-
It just isn't good enough. Mike Ashley isn't stupid either, I'm sure he realises a better manager could get this group playing significantly better. The change will come at the end of the season, I'm sure of it.

There we go. Farcical.
