We should play this like Liverpool did with Torres and Carroll and directly factor the cost of a replacement into the pricing of Cabaye. Don't want to take £20 million only to find that Montpellier now want £18 million for Cabella for example.

Could have been. The Journal and the Chronicle could have gone nuclear today but they haven't. I guess the local papers heavily rely upon their NUFC coverage to sell papers and they probably can't afford to just cut ties with the club.

Played against Sammy at school. Used to knock about with Patrick Nzuzi for a while as well (who I think plays in Ireland now). The latter really was a cut above everyone at school, really tricky player but struggled when he first came to the country with the physical nature of 'playground football'. Used to constantly get pushed off the ball. Was surprised when the academy or whoever decided he should play his trade at RB.

Getting rid of Hazard and Weimann this week which frees up a lot of funds (15.3), but there's too many choices. Tempted to bring in Brady as they have 2 winnable home games next - then maybe Lambert up front for the same reasoning. Or to I bring in Rooney and go for someone cheap in midfield? Or Lukaku and maybe Paulinho?

They still (at least I think) play it before the Blaydon Races, but played Daydream believer instead today.
