He still has a vindictive nature in him after the Keegan saga and the flack he took off it, and that explains these quite ridiculous moves imo. He can afford to be spiteful, coz he knows the majority of the fans will continue to show up. Look at the season we went down, if there was a time to vote with our feet that was it but the crowds we got in the championship were amazing.

I do feel a tad sympathy if he's been kept out of the loop with all of this, its just outrageously humiliating for him. Not sure how he'll be with it all, wouldn't be at all surprised if he quit.

In a midfield three Jonas can work centrally, but he's no DM though. Rubbish, man. He's a f***ing dreadful midfielder. This. He gives the ball away constantly, possibly the worst trait you could have for that position.

Aye. If this continues into the new season and it's clear that mistakes are not being rectified or learned by, then it's pretty obvious something is majorly wrong with the manager and his staff. For instance if we're all sitting there first game and it's shite free kicks and corners from the off. It'll just prompt the question if the staff have even done anything on the training ground.

You push a first teamer for his place through performances, and his have been pretty poor for a while now. Thats why he's dropped whenever Taylor is fit. Think the ilk tag was meant as in his level headed approach to the game.

Think he's a decent shot stopper but his command and organising of his penalty area is often all over the place.

Whittingham for starters.

Keepers are important, quality ones even more so. Luckily we've seemed to have been well stocked in that area over the years. Arsenal are a good example, seemed to have lacked a good goalkeeper for a while (Szczęsny is ok but not that good imo) and it's arguably stunted their progress.

First season back in the Prem, he was absolutely fine and I preferred him over Taylor at the time, undoubtedly aided by Colo. But towards the tail end of the next season and the entire of last the Prem seems to have caught up with his flaws dramatically. He's a good pro, but as mentioned simply not Premiership level, or at least not on a consistent basis. His confidence seemed to take a massive hit also when his form went.

s*** idea. However a small bonus would be the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea etc coming back paggered and fatigued before the new season starts.
