  1. Because it's the Alan Pardew thread in a Newcastle United forum. A thread dedicated to the detailed discussion of Alan Pardew, in a forum dedicated to the detailed discussion of Newcastle United. Unless I'm missing something pretty big, the idea of it is that we debate and discuss issues related to Alan Pardew, in the wider context of Newcastle United. So any reasons why he's not shit then? I'd like to see you at least try to make some up.
  2. Was it level? What fucking tools man. Feel a bit for Southampton. They play some really nice stuff.
  3. Couldn't have said it better myself.
  4. It's obvious that, as the Secret Footballer column makes out, Pardew isn't here based on his managerial ability but because he owes money to Ashley. I want Pardew sacked 100%, but even then we're never going to be run properly as a football club, with ambition, until Ashley's gone.
  5. I'm starting to really like Meyler.
  6. First time Ive ever not given a fuck about a last minute winner, ever. And it's all down to this cunt. I'd happily see us lose every game for the rest of the season if it would lead to him getting sacked. He's sapped all the enthusiasm for football out of me with his shit negative tactics and excuses.
  7. Shit manager and a shit man too. Like the total opposite of Sir Bobby Robson.
  8. Great manager and a great man too. Happy birthday.
  9. What a fucking cunt. He should have no future at NUFC himself the utter cunt.
  10. It's clear Gouffran's been making him look much more solid for a while by doing most of his defensive work for him.
  11. Decided to go out for the day to miss this as i was expecting a gutless performance and another beating...sad thing is I'm not even surprised anymore. Gonna go read through some of this thread and watch the highlights to see what happened, but my guess is Pardew was a coward as usual, Ameobi probably started, we may well have had a player sent off(please God not Debuchy again), their players looked up for it and ours didn't. Not sure if I've missed anything.
  12. Nice to see him getting some praise. Tbf the comments are nothing we didn't alrerady know he could offer. Strong on the ball, works hard and doesn't over complicate things. We just had enough of seeing nothing more other than that after 5 year I liked the comment of ‘If Newcastle can afford to let players like him leave on loan then we should go back for a few more!' Lets give them Obertan.

Can we not just get rid of Pardew instead.
  14. Anythings possible with the muppet we have in charge.
  15. Sick of Pardews defensive lineups...start Ben Arfa ffs.
  16. It's because the media are complicit in the bias towards the 'big' teams. They'll do anything possible to brush this under the carpet and it looks like they've got away with it. Theres not even been any serious debate about the manner in which the goal was ruled out. An incorrect decision is one thing, but this was something else entirely.
  17. Seeing that little prick on crutches makes the fact that we were cheated out of the game just that tiny bit less painful. I'm still raging about yesterday.

He successfully dribbled past the most players on the pitch and only had 10 minutes. What do you want him to do when has 10 minutes against the best side in the country. The first time he picked up the ball, he beat two men then got a shot away. He then beat another two men but then slipped and lost the ball which was unlucky. Then he picks up the ball goes past a couple and his pull back was a poor effort but very few could have even got to the position he put himself in. Can't understand how you could say he wasn't good at all when he was clearly showing signs of class and if he had more minutes on the pitch, he was going to create some damage. Absolute farce he wasn't given at least 20 minutes, very least as well. Exactly, he's such a dangerous player that he creates chances even in 10 minutes. Imagine what he could do given 90 minutes every week? Theres no need to imagine. We've seen it. Yeah but what's his longest run in the team? 4/5 starts in a row maybe? I'd be surprised if he's ever been allowed to start say 10 out of 15 games even.

Yep, he's a finisher and that's it. Except he hasn't even been able to finish for the last 18 months.
