It'll probably just happen out of the blue and not like at a normal club, where the show of despair from the fans at the Hull game would be enough. With Joe Kinnear it seemed like the main fury about everything had died down. Everyone had accepted that there seemed to be no getting rid of him. Then all of a sudden he was gone. Always a good bet with Newcastle

Got to get the Hope banner into the Hull game. This is the stuff dreams are made of!

Voted for the fucking win.

Agreed, I've got zero interest in getting relegated even if that's what it takes to out Pardew. Maybe its different when you live locally and can go watch the lads smash Blackpool 5-0 in person, but over here getting relegated equates to a year of complete Newcastle blackout, no tv, no streams, hell we weren't even in f***ing Pro Evo that year. Nothing. f*** that s***.

Feeling this too. It's a hugely uncomfortable bit of cognitive dissonance on matchday, when we score I cheer and am elated and then a split second later I am thinking of all the sour shit I've read on here and thinking "should I be sad about this?" The end result is just being confused and generally dissatisfied. I just can't quite get behind rooting for us to lose, it seems SO wrong, but on an intellectual level I understand the logic behind it. Ahh fuck it I'm just going to cheer for the team and to hell with it.

Instead it was bungled in by Mike Williamson. By far the better outcome than a young lad scoring a pearler I went mental when Willo scored tbf, was chuffed for him. It was almost like the "floated set penis to Williamson at the back post" worked for the first time!

I could watch this for hours Pinching her nose before diving Horrific run up to the dive Horrific body control and co-ordination on the change of decision Lack of arm strength to hold onto the rail Legs apart on the somersaults Terrible splash entry into the pool Awful! Also love the guys reaction on the second platform. Complete deadpan, then looks towards the camera.

Man this is the only thing that might convince me there is actually some hope of him getting sacked. The bookies generally know their s***... They do, but in this case it's more about the amount of money coming in on him. The good news is he's finally getting the negative attention he deserves. Still a good sign I guess... Don't think he's going anywhere unless we're relegated, mind you.

The most damning thing of all, is that his two ready-made #10 replacements in Ben Arfa and Marveaux are on loan because our manager doesn't like them. I know it fits the agenda nicely but Ben Arfa isn't a number 10. He's consistently crap there. RW on the other hand he's very good at. He's fucking mint there in football manager...
-
It's gutting of course, but at this point more than anything I'm just happy for Ben Arfa. I hope he plays a lot for them and that he f***ing scores against us as a final revenge. Plus, it gives me a reason to watch Hull games. When you're a newcastle supporter you always need to be on the lookout for more "B" teams to get you through the season...

I'd hope we could threaten the keeper with twelve fucking players on the field!

Warnock did a decent job for Palace previously.... in the Championship. Would've gotten a side with no cash to the play-offs if not for the club going into administration. There's not many decent PL experienced managers around tbf. Warnock doesn't even really have Premier League experience. Hasn't he only got the 1 season with Sheffield where he got relegated and the 6 months with QPR before he got sacked? I guess that's my point is, I might rather take a shot on a manager who doesn't have premier league experience instead of one who has proved over and over that they can't hack it at this level. Maybe that is not conservative enough though, and if I had however many billion dollars invested in the club I might be less willing to take risks... Still, it's like a decision between a guy who will probably suck, and a guy who will definitely suck and has sucked 3 times in a row already.

he has all the earmarks of a bust imo, didn't want to leave Madrid, has to adjust to england and a league where people tackle and there are more than two good teams, huge transfer fee to live up to, massive pressure from having to save a completely s*** team, and he's a winger that doesn't like to defend on a team that uses f***ing wing-backs.
-
I always wonder why people like Warnock, Pardew, and other confirmed shit managers who've never really had any success, keep getting hired by new clubs over and over. Surely it'd be better to take a chance on an up and comer than to go bring in a manager who has been confirmed as shitte over the years.

Whatever, you east coast time zone motherfucker...

It's all about when the head flips The best part for me is how the expression perfectly matches the arm movements / swagger. Fucking classic man.

oyyyy the 4:45 AM kickoffs are brutal. A rare winnable game though, so I will have to be up for it I guess.

I just watched the youtube video for this guy, and first of all I have to say he looks well qualified to be captain, but beyond that the fella can really score a canny goal, seems to be an excellent technical finisher so I am excited about that. He never missed once on the whole video . I can't even tell if I'm being sarcastic there, but either way I'm looking forward to watching him play. Does it make anyone else nervous that we now have three players who prefer to wear the #10 shirt? Really hoping we don't have another Ba/Cisse situation on our hands, and that we can find a way to fit them all into the same lineup effectively.

Would be surprised if Lahm didn't unretire for the euros
