Where the fuck is the center back?

That was my initial thought too... but on some reflection, perch does a hell of a lot better job passing than Tiote does, Cheick drives me mental constantly giving the ball away cheaply with shit passes. Still not sure I'm buying it, mind.

The one bright side: I'm liking the look of Debs so far, and Santon has been quite good as usual (I'm almost ready to play him at wing forward). It's starting to look possible that we might have a strong back-four in the near future now

If this is true.... we are fucked.

I'd just like to see us win a fucking trophy before I die, and we've got a way better shot at the FA Cup than we do at winning the league title any time soon.

So this scottish dude at my work bet me two bucks that QPR would win tomorrow. If I lose money to that northern prick because we can't scrape a draw against QPR at home... Well I won't do anything, but I will be mighty upset about it.

Surprised so many people are okay with selling the only player who's scoring any goals for us. I think the next top scorer is Ben Arfa with 3. I understand the reasoning to letting him go, but I am just not confident that Cisse or anyone we might bring in ( wait a second, what am I thinking, bringing players in, that's a good one) will be able to pick up the slack. And we're already so abysmal... The thought of letting our only goalscorer go when we have no midfield and no defense just plain terrifies me. Personally I would much rather see some defensive players come in.

hahaha, that would explain a lot actually. I'm just a bit tired of seeing 4-3-3 being posited as the magical answer all the time. We lined up 4-3-3 last time out and guess what, we still couldn't string two fucking passes together.

I know this is gonna go against the popular sentiment of the board, but I thought we looked waaaaay better in the last game when we switched to 4-4-2. I know, I know. Everyone wants 4-3-3, but they didnt look like they had any fucking idea how to do it last time out, I feel like people are plugging 4-3-3 just because they haven't seen us be terrible in it as much. I'd like to see Anita and Tiote in the middle, shit maybe even Bigi in for Tiote as that fool has been driving me CRAZY, and Marv on the left with HBA on the right. Just think, we'd actually be dangerous on both sides then, without Jonas wasting possession 15 times a game on the left flank. Santon and Marv on one side and HBA on the other side with the two african fellows up top, seems like something could happen maybe. Or if you really want 4-3-3, put Cisse on the fucking bench. Marv, Ba and HBA as the front three.

Yeah... I was a huge Jonas fan after last season but I am ready to put Marv in for him if we are gonna play this 4-4-2. Marv on one side and HBA on the other ain't too bad.

Really? To me it's clear as day as a pen and a red. Cisse's through on goal and the CB shoves him out of the way, if that's not a penalty and "denying a goalscoring opportunity" what is? I'd be pissed if it went against us, but only because our CB was so fucking stupid to make a challenge like that.

well, it's fair enough to put pressure on Pardew at this point, the team has been underachieving pretty blatantly. With that said, I have no desire to go back to the "new manager every 6 months" system that got us relegated before.

Really disappointed to see that Lazy Altidore is back in the squad already. Especially when they don't bother to call up the guy who scored 28 goals in 34 games this year. Ridiculous.
