Martinez would be brilliant here IMO, but there's no way we'd agree the fee for him. He turned down Liverpool in the summer as well, so he's obviously quite picky over his input. Adkins is the most realistic out of that list and I think he's got enough in him to get us playing football and playing to our strengths. And he won't cost much.

Without a doubt. You wouldn't see him making the kind of subs Pardew did today either, absolutely no way. The thing that makes it a genuine possibility for me is just the fact Adkins will be cheap and easy to acquire.

I don't think Adkins is completely brilliant but he's available. Might be a genuine possibility of Pardew going if there's a replacement out there available with no compensation available? I imagine he'd be pretty cheap in terms of salary as well.
