  7. Ah Damn, that's another week missed - must put an update in me diary so as to remember !!! Ah well - must try harder - roll on week 3.
  8. Swansea 0-3 Man Utd Bournemouth 2-2 Watford Burnley 1-0 West Brom Leicester 2-0 Brighton Liverpool 3-0 Crystal Palace Southampton 1-2 West Ham Stoke 1-2 Arsenal Huddersfield 1-2 Newcastle Tottenham 0-1 Chelsea Manchester City 2-1 Everton OK, completely forgot about this last week, but thought i'd give you all a head start (doh!).
  9. http://www.themag.co.uk/2017/05/newcastle-united-pre-season-plans-taking-shape-reports/ This link seems quite up to date and on the mark, would seem right in not going abroad.
  10. According to this website :- http://www.soccerstats.com/homeaway.asp?league=england2 Villa have the 8th best home record, and brighton the 3rd best away - so looks a draw on paper. We have the 7th best home, and Barnsley have the 7th best away - so going on the figures looks like a home win. But at the end of the day - glad to be back in the premiership - I think being champions will be a nice to have if possible but not bothered either way.
  11. Simple question is 'Do you think we will get 8 points (at least) from the last 5 games?' If you answered 'Yes' then Huddersfield will have to win ALL of their remaining games just to tie with us on points. Team P to play Pts max points 1 Brighton 41 5 86 101 2 Newcastle 41 5 84 99 3 Huddersfield 40 6 74 92 4 Reading 41 5 73 88 5 Leeds 41 5 72 87
  12. I was going to respond nor post as the thought of what could have happened last night wasn't good. The scenario was :- Lose 3-0, 4 points behind 1st. H'field beat us, then play reading. now in a dog fight for 2nd place. Now, 2 points clear, 8 from 3rd. H'field to play tonight - have to go to extra time. Lads rest up, gayle comes back (prob. not). Garner (h'field manager) is in the stands for the game. Get a draw minimum, and a draw a reading. Will be happy.
  13. Just seen this :- TICKET ALERT: All 4,200 away tickets for Saturday's game at @OfficialWolves have now sold out!
  14. I thought we were just having a little bit of banter with SCT. then Scoot and Newsted get all nasty- shame on them. Nasty? Really? I suppose i was about out of order by quoting him. And I'm out of order for calling you all f*ckwits (which you are not). It's too late. Things will never be the same between us. LOL

  16. YES, shame on you - all. All I was doing was highlighting the 'run in' for both of the team and you take the p~ss. 'Well with 19 games left you will play x number of teams'. Well next time, well there won't be a next time. Period. Have a nice day - f*ckwits.
  17. Can if you like, I know it was discussed at the end of last season. Go with the majority. When do we start? This week so a one game week? Or just add our games into the PL matchweeks wherever appropriate? I'd be up for adding a Newcastle game, you'd probably get more interest as well. Probably just add a Newcastle game to the existing Premier League game week, so predict 38 Newcastle games instead of 46. Yes, that sounds a good idea - as the championship games aren't in sync with the PL so would be easier just to do the Toon games when in sync with the PL.
  18. Magpie, you're great and a gent, and we thank you for doing this. It must take out a few hours of your time each week doing it. But why not add in Newcastle's game as well ?
  19. Perhaps for one last time ..... (Hoping not - i really loved doing this). Arsenal 3-0 Aston Villa Chelsea 0-1 Leicester Everton 2-1 Norwich Man Utd 2-1 Bournemouth Newcastle 2-1 Spurs Southampton 2-0 Crystal Palace Stoke 1-1 West Ham Swansea 1-2 Man City Watford 3-1 Sunderland West Brom 1-2 Liverpool
  20. Just checking the odds for tomorrows game, and on the link below :- http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-coupons/major-leagues-cups Shows that the game is on Setanta Sports 1 ? thought they went bust ?
  21. Here we go again ...... Norwich 1-2 Man Utd Aston Villa 1-2 Newcastle Bournemouth 2-0 West Brom Crystal Palace 1-1 Stoke Sunderland 0-1 Chelsea West Ham 3-0 Swansea Leicester 2-1 Everton Spurs 2-0 Southampton Liverpool 2-1 Watford Man City 2-1 Arsenal West Ham 1-2 Man Utd Norwich 1-1 Watford Sunderland 0-2 Everton Liverpool 2-0 Chelsea Onwards ....
  22. On a previous post there was reference to Stoke and Everton not caring as they can't go down. Well on the clayhead front, i've been speaking to a ST holder and he informs me that Hughes will get them up for it as he has 'a target to hit' - which is :- 'To match or better last year finishing position in the PL' And last year they got 50 points - they are currently on 47. So there's every chance that even after 3 games on letting in 4 goals, they will be up for it and hammer the mackems.
  23. God, how many more of these are there, ar, well, here we go again ... eye down for a full house... Everton 0-1 Bournemouth Newcastle 2-1 Crystal Palace Stoke 2-0 Sunderland Watford 1-0 Aston Villa West Brom 0-2 West Ham Arsenal 3-1 Norwich Swansea 0-2 Liverpool Man Utd 2-2 Leicester Southampton 1-2 Man City Chelsea 1-3 Spurs Not a draw in the house.
  24. There will be countless posts examining the why's and wherefore's of all of the games, so here's another :- Spurs 68 pts 4 games to play City 64 pts 3 games to play - max points - 73 Arse 64 pts 3 games to play - max points - 73 So by my reckoning if Spurs get 2 wins (certain) or 1 wins and 2 draws (have a better goal difference) from :- West Brom - H Cheslea - A Southampton - H Then in theory there should be no reason for them to go at it to us, if we were in the situation of having to Win / Draw to stay up.
