  1. https://www.90min.com/posts/newcastle-manager-eddie-howe-talks-stall-jason-tindall Seems all isn't rosy in the garden of Howe. Let's hope it all gets sorted.
  2. And here they are last month or so - holy F**k - she's 55 - and looking like that - doesn't seem to have aged (much).
  3. As soon as Eddie was in the frame this song came back to me. Ah those were the days. Nice viewing, nice tune - but no verbal references of use at all.
  4. OK, not being the bill shankley or Bobby Robson of this world, i watched this and honestly as i was watching it thought - how does this compare to how a NUFC training session would have been done. It seems to me that (and i didn't note the date, but saw Mings in there and he was sold to Villa) he can 'see' things, knows what he's got and knows probably what he hasn't got after all He's not going to air all of his washing for some club video. On the point of fitness - liked the running between beeps, would be interesting to see how our lot faired at the same time - perhaps some of them might have been a little out of puff sooner than most. As from what i've seen (only on TV) one or two seem to have been at the pies more than they should have.
  5. Whilst being totally off-piste to say, i'd like a top with more stripes in it - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Score-Draw-Official-Retro-Newcastle/dp/B002PU9DOM/ref=asc_df_B002PU9DOM/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=310552644448&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=11671825241541507873&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9046460&hvtargid=pla-698665323991&psc=1 Not one that makes it look like everyone's wearing a large number four pendant on their chests. who the fuck came up with that design.
  6. Not telling the better folk here how to suck eggs, but here's my take on the website (and remembering to proof read - FFS) - I don't fore see any issues in this starting up, but for those who are 'the sites operators' what you need to remember is consistency, that is, updating the website on a regular basis, no matter who they are from. The main problem with other websites is that in the 'start up' phase everyone is up for it and posts etc but then over a period of time people start to forget, do other things and generally websites become stagnant, with out of date information. One thing to help is to 'plan' a yearly cycle, so like the clothing seasons, plan for a Christmas theme, a FA Cup theme, start of the season theme, something to keep people coming back in the closed season theme, you get the gist. Then do a 'global' post to all members (if possible) that way you be able to get the attention of all members and get more of a responsive feedback from those who only come to the forum / webpage on a adhoc basis. BTW, I'd only be happy to create some content (like an editorial note on a recent or related topic) as I used to do the like (back in the day) for the Alex's fanzine 'Super Dario Land' (those were the days). Keeping it toon, SCT.
  7. From looking at who has to play who, it could all go down to the last day, looking at it, Burnley have the harder run in. (this is from a speadsheet i've created so I work out how likely it is we can go down) #It was looking bad to be honest until after Friday night game. 8. Fulham have to win for us to still be in with the faintest chance of going down. If they draw, then we are safe, but the 3 below us - could still be over took by Fulham.
  9. It makes me fucking mad that the RM president says 'We need this to cover the losses from not playing in front of crowds etc', Whilst I imagine, like all clubs, they are still having to pay their players etc. - Well Mr Ugly Fucker, this is my reply - You didn't have to sign those player for over inflated prices, and then proceed to pay them over hyped wages. It's not our fault - so fucking live with it - and pay them less you greedy twat. #Takes a deep breath, rant over. You don't know how much I've wanted to say this even though it may only be read by 3 people.

  20. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42306141 Another two faced comment by 'United', I wonder if United 'complained' when Gary 'I'm a twat' Neville ran the length of the pitch. (United had just scored at the Crapford end) and he ran to the 'pool supports, kissing the crap off his shirt) when they beat Liverpool ? Oh no, i don't think they did. Tough sh*t United. Also i watch these games with the sound off, as to me, unlike to BEEB, there is some bias to what is perceived to be the 'best' team both from Sky and BT. Well, after the final whistle i turned up the volume, and wow, it sounded like Martin Tyler had been kicked in the bo**ocks - had a real downer on him. Makes me think Sky are totally in favour of the scum United. Hay Hoy, here's to more games like this.. Merry Xmas Everyone. (Am just trying to cheer myself up from the 'fiasco' of Saturday night.)
  21. Woo Hoo - off the bottom. Stoke City 0-1 Leicester City Huddersfield Town 0-1 West Bromwich Albion Newcastle United 2-0 Bournemouth Southampton 1-1 Burnley Swansea City 1-1 Brighton & Hove Albion West Ham United 2-2 Liverpool Tottenham Hotspur 3-1 Crystal Palace Manchester City 3-0 Arsenal Chelsea 1-2 Manchester Utd Everton 0-1 Watford
  22. Daft Question Time :- If you read her wiki page, it states that she was part of the team (pcp partners) that did the Man City deal etc etc. So - is she buying for herself ? or on behalf of 'interested' parties ? And if Ashley did sell, we would then know who the 'real' owners were ? It's just never been made clear.
  23. Well that didn't happen did it - even though the dates for releasing those to be played on TV are :- TV Announcement Dates December to January - 12 October February - 12 December March - 25 January April - 26 February May - 6 April Round 38 matches Selected after Round 37 So here we are 2 weeks later and not a word - hopefully it will be today, otherwise I think it was tomorrow after they have taken into account the result from tonight.
  24. Believe new year fixture changes (if any) will be announced today at some time.
