Here we go again ...... Norwich 1-2 Man Utd Aston Villa 1-2 Newcastle Bournemouth 2-0 West Brom Crystal Palace 1-1 Stoke Sunderland 0-1 Chelsea West Ham 3-0 Swansea Leicester 2-1 Everton Spurs 2-0 Southampton Liverpool 2-1 Watford Man City 2-1 Arsenal West Ham 1-2 Man Utd Norwich 1-1 Watford Sunderland 0-2 Everton Liverpool 2-0 Chelsea Onwards .... -
On a previous post there was reference to Stoke and Everton not caring as they can't go down. Well on the clayhead front, i've been speaking to a ST holder and he informs me that Hughes will get them up for it as he has 'a target to hit' - which is :- 'To match or better last year finishing position in the PL' And last year they got 50 points - they are currently on 47. So there's every chance that even after 3 games on letting in 4 goals, they will be up for it and hammer the mackems.

God, how many more of these are there, ar, well, here we go again ... eye down for a full house... Everton 0-1 Bournemouth Newcastle 2-1 Crystal Palace Stoke 2-0 Sunderland Watford 1-0 Aston Villa West Brom 0-2 West Ham Arsenal 3-1 Norwich Swansea 0-2 Liverpool Man Utd 2-2 Leicester Southampton 1-2 Man City Chelsea 1-3 Spurs Not a draw in the house. -
There will be countless posts examining the why's and wherefore's of all of the games, so here's another :- Spurs 68 pts 4 games to play City 64 pts 3 games to play - max points - 73 Arse 64 pts 3 games to play - max points - 73 So by my reckoning if Spurs get 2 wins (certain) or 1 wins and 2 draws (have a better goal difference) from :- West Brom - H Cheslea - A Southampton - H Then in theory there should be no reason for them to go at it to us, if we were in the situation of having to Win / Draw to stay up.
-
After yesterdays result - then as they say our destiny is in our own hands and i can see us getting 3 wins, i can't see both of the other two doing the same, but if they did then the goal difference to palace is now only 16, so with them playing and losing all three - then there 'MIGHT' just might be a chance that they could go down, but it would mean us scoring a shed load of goals. Only time will tell.

Bloody forgot - any chance I can have these predictions - there's no cheating - check the time stamp. Chelsea 0-2 Man City Bournemouth 1-2 Liverpool Leicester 1-1 West Ham Arsenal 2-1 Crystal Palace Stoke 0-2 Spurs Newcastle 1-0 Man City West Ham 2-1 Watford Liverpool 2-0 Everton Man Utd 3-0 Crystal Palace Arsenal 3-0 West Brom -
As bad as it may seem, we could do with the Sundersh*t winning - as this then keeps a reason gap to Norwich, if Norwich end up winning then i think even if we win this afternoon there would be too much to do.

OK, let's see if I can get a few more right ..... West Ham 2-1 Arsenal Aston Villa 0-1 Bournemouth Crystal Palace 1-1 Norwich Southampton 1-2 Newcastle Swansea 0-2 Chelsea Watford 2-1 Everton Man City 3-0 West Brom Sunderland 0-2 Leicester Liverpool 2-1 Stoke Spurs 2-2 Man Utd Crystal Palace 0-1 Everton And as they say 'Sh*t or bust', some times I think my choices put the mockers on our result, but then I see them play and put it down to the gods. And as Doris Day sings 'Kay Sera Sera' meaning in spanish 'What ever will be will be'. Come on the Toon. -

One thing i did notice - and we will only have ourselves to blame if we go down - it the fact that current we will play all of the other bottom 6 clubs - so the potential number of 6 pointers is amazing.

One thing people always seem to forget is the fact it is up to the teams below us to out perform us by way of obtaining more points that us. I know that sounds simple but for every draw/win we get above the 3 teams in the relegation zone and the other below us - then the bigger the gap and the harder it becomes to bridge that gap. There is no point as to be saying we need this or we need that - so long as we keep a trying attitude, and the teams below us get fewer points - the onus will be on them to win, and by which more pressure will be brought to bear and some teams, if not already, will crack, as I think Villa have - and i don't think Garde has the ability to change it at present.
