Ney pressure then...

So true - one thing I love about football over other sports is the speed of the game. VAR just kills it - stop/start without a clue what's going on. And for what? We'll still get wrong decisions - that offside today - ridiculous.

This ^ Plus Mike Dean making his own interpretation for what it's used for - always the Mike Dean show - awful ref.

Rafa's training is incredibly intense and to a certain extent repetitive and boring. He will make players repeat drills, positions till they are 100% perfect. It is a lot of information for folks to process. And he is incredibly cold and brutal apparently during training. His attitude was "you train 4 hours per day for 4 days, get paid millions of dollars, why are you complaining, this is nothing compared to what the rest of society do, if you cant take this get out of here". It takes players of a certain mentality to appreciate Rafa - Torres, Reina, Baraja, Mascherano, Garcia. I think there is a big cultural mentality difference in how players from some of these countries approach training - they are ok with it being hard, repetitive, and boring. At LFC too, when Rafa left, there was a lot of statements from players like Gerrard, Carra on how training was "more fun" now. Even Bellamy, who played for LFC under Rafa and King Kenny said how training was more fun under King Kenny. However, at the end of their career, almost all of them acknowledged that Rafa was the best manager they trained under. I think pretty much all of them realized it once we started dropping down the table. So I don't think the NUFC players are being disingenuous or anything. I think they are genuinely enjoying freedom. They don't have a person walking up to them shouting at corners, when the opposition is making 32 degree runs in front of you using zonal marking, you should stand 26 inches from the goal line at 48 degrees. You were at 24 inches and standing at 41 degrees. Let us repeat this 37 more times till you get it right. Well it worked - end of last season our form was excellent. Tactically the players knew what they had to do.

Urgh Bruce Such a cruel joke after Rafa
-
What formation has Bruce been playing?
-
Tweedle dee and Tweedle dum
-
Hard to get excited by this with all that's gone on
-
Laughable him playing the Geordie card - Rafa was more a Geordie and he's from Spain. Bruce couldn't give a monkeys about Newcastle - he's just followed the cash.

I'm gutted at having to flush £300 that I've already lined Ashley's pocket with but I refuse to give that man 1p more of my hard earned cash. I'm done. IMO the only thing that will get rid of him is when there is nothing left of the club to fleece. That means League 1 - TV money is gone, gates massively down and no vehicle to push his horrible SD brand. As painful as it would be to see the club demise in that way it'd be worth it to get rid of the man.

Ashley thinking - Brazilian - one year time can sell him for 100 million
-
Won't take into account cancelled DD
-
He makes too much money from having the club for him to sell. Its always been and always will be smoke and mirrors - plays the game but nothing more.
-
it's like everything else that's going on - it just signals we're stepping back in time like the last 3 years never happened.
-
Has anyone actually got their money back from DD paid? If so what reason did you give? I went to bank and the only way I was told you'd get cash back was if they'd took wrong amount.
-
Worst thread EVER!!

Surely that'll include those who are on the 10 year deal and I wouldn't be surprised if many of those are cancelling their DD's as we speak.
