  1. That they didn’t spend hardly anything on defenders is mystifying.
  2. Part of the problem is the insane financial gulf between the PL and Champo. If clubs didn’t see relegation as a financial death sentence, they might be more inclined to stick it out with a manager and try to build something over time. There are very few managers who can step in to any club situation and get immediate results.
  3. GD might save Leicester at the end of the day.
  4. Be hilarious if they just reappointed Marsch

Not at all. Mackems are our oldest rivals; there’s something missing by not having the derby with regularity.
  6. Pretty sure he negotiated a ridiculously low release clause with Dortmund as a condition of signing with them. Everyone knew he’d be moving on after a couple seasons.
  7. Based on form, I’d prefer Spurs knock them back.
  8. Napoli 1-0 up on Salernitana. A win brings them the title.
  9. Leeds, Leicester, Everton, and Forest all racing to the bottom.

    Anthony Gordon

The only correct answer. They’d not have spent as much as they did if they thought he was a part-time, Champo-level player.
  11. Before he came off, was Gordon in midfield? Or is ESPN lying to me.
  12. Ream off for Fulham, broken arm speculated. He’s had a terrific season, shame if that’s how it ends.

At D.C. United v Charlotte. Really nice little stadium they built. Old man Benteke’s on a yellow for bodying people all half.
  15. Impressive! Any particular favorites (SJP aside)?
  16. I really can’t stand the “who’s a proper ‘big’ club” debate. It’s weirdly classist, in a footballing sense anyway.
  17. Spurs have the financial muscle to be in the top 6 picture every year. They’ll fall into the right manager sooner or later.
  18. Redknapp’s been out of the game since 2017 and hasn’t had success as a manager in over a decade. Sign him up, Spurs.
  19. It’s wild that we may actually be playing CL football next season.
  20. Meanwhile, West Ham dispatching Bournemouth with ease as well.
