  1. Defensive lapse from Stoke, but well taken from Doolafoo. Kept after it. Muniesa looks a good player. Comfortable on the ball and pushing forward.
  2. Ramsey goal, Ozil assist. Would've been nice to have that Giroud goal as well. Makes up for Barkley, Morrison, and Nate Baker not playing.
  3. Everton-Stoke been pretty evenly matched so far. Entertaining match.
  4. Rumors of Landon Donovan heading back to Everton on loan.
  5. Haven't his last 3 transfer fees all been the same amount?
  6. Don't be surprised if he doesn't, at least initially. Plenty of quality forwards (Henry, Di Vaio, Dempsey in recent years) have struggled to adapt at first. Defoe's more than capable of performing at a high level and I don't doubt that he will eventually. Adding Defoe alone won't make TFC competitive though.

  8. Williamson-MYM has been our best CB partnership this season. Why fix what ain't broke? None of West Brom's strikers are so dangerous as to necessitate an overhaul of the back line.
  9. That's not the funny part.

It works both ways.... for first 6 months Spurs were winning games and still probably would have finished 5th but post Christmas he decided to build the team around Bale the rest of the players got worse to allow Bale to do what he wanted but Bale massively improved to cover that. Anyway they would be idiots to sack him, they got thrashed by the team who seemingly thrash everyone at home that is it really. They just bought an entirely new team, these things take time and won't happen over night. Do they have problems? sure but its nothing which can't be rectified and sacking him definitely isn't the answer, especially when they are just 4 points from 2nd. Ultimate kneejerk reaction this. AVB's biggest challenge is figuring out his central midfield, imo. Needs to pick his guys and stick with them each week, let them gel.
  12. Doesn't mean it is, knocked out and bleeding perhaps, does look very nasty though It's a pool of blood, not a nose bleed.

    Football podcasts

Good question, I'd like to know too. Also, some of us from Uni are doing a weekly podcast now - entitled Kevin Phillips' Piano.....not really sure why! We've only done 2 episodes so it's very VERY rough, with lots of small problems that'll get fixed over time. But, on the other hand, we're using the Cagney & Lacey theme tune. https://soundcloud.com/matthew-barber-10/episode-1-one-in-the-hand-or Well done. Some genuine laughs in there too. The description of the Joe Allen miss.

  15. Picturing Gotze lying in bed with Klopp, smoking a cigarette and telling him of Pep's plans. "I'll only ever love you, Jurgen."
  16. Why would QPR take our garbage? You can't be serious. I don't joke, sucka. But seriously, why would they take a wildly out-of-form Cisse? They could just get Remy back after this season and flip him to the highest bidder. If he continues producing for us, he'll draw attention from bigger spenders.
