Fwiw, he was played at left wing back quite a bit last season, and he's absolutely not a wing defender. Started as a pure defensive midfielder but plays box-to-box for Honduras now. One of the only midfielders I've seen give Michael Bradley a tough go in last few years.

Speaking of Fulham, I wonder what will become of Stockdale now that they've signed Stekelenburg. I always thought the plan was for Schwarzer to hand over the reins to Stockdale when he retired. Think he's a good keeper, can probably start at this level.

Apparently a big sticking point for Dempsey last offseason was that he remain in London, as his family his pretty firmly entrenched there. Whether or not that'll hold true if he leaves this summer remains to be seen. That'd basically leave doors open at Fulham, West Ham, and Crystal Palace, with Fulham being the most likely destination. I think he'd do well in Italy or Germany, but I don't know if he wants to leave the country.
