N-O: advancing social justice one sponsor at a time
  2. 1. MAPOU (should've pulled the trigger on this kid over the summer, I'm afraid he's gonna move to a bigger club come January) 2. Quality left back. Move Santon to right.
  3. This is the line-up I'm expecting/wanting to see: --------------------Gomez-------------------- Dempsey---------------------------Donovan -------------Bradley-----Jones--------------- -------------------Williams-------------------- Johnson-------------------------Cherundolo ----------Bocanegra---Cameron------------ --------------------Howard------------------- Beckerman absolutely shouldn't be there, but I'll bet he gets minutes. Gomez, imo, is the best goalscorer in the bunch. Gordon is there as the strong-man, to come on with 15 left and hold the ball up top. If we're going 4-3-3 like we did against Jamaica, we really don't need more than one true striker at a time. I would've liked to have seen Boyd, as I still rate him higher than Altidore in all-around play. But overall, I'm quite pleased with this roster.
  4. Klinsmann's squad for the October qualifiers against A&B (A) and Guatemala (H): GOALKEEPERS (3) : Brad Guzan (Aston Villa), Tim Howard (Everton), Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake) DEFENDERS (8) : Carlos Bocanegra (Racing Santander), Geoff Cameron (Stoke City), Edgar Castillo (Club Tijuana), Steve Cherundolo (Hannover), Maurice Edu (Stoke City), Clarence Goodson (Brondby), Fabian Johnson (Hoffenheim), Michael Parkhurst (Nordsjaelland) MIDFIELDERS (8) : Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake), Michael Bradley (Roma), Joe Corona (Club Tijuana), Jermaine Jones (Schalke 04), Sacha Kljestan (Anderlecht), Brek Shea (FC Dallas), Danny Williams (Hoffenheim), Graham Zusi (Sporting Kansas City) FORWARDS (5): Clint Dempsey (Tottenham Hotspur), Landon Donovan (LA Galaxy), Herculez Gomez (Santos), Alan Gordon (San Jose Earthquakes), Eddie Johnson (Seattle Sounders) People feigning outrage that Altidore wasn't called up. I'm sorry, but I'm still not convinced that scoring loads of goals in the Eredivisie is really indicative of anything. And his play for the national side has been so poor lately.
  5. I've decided to go against my natural instinct and not change my roster at all. First week I'll have not made an impulse transfer. There's no way my team is this shit over the long haul.
  6. No way I love it. He's flipping them the bird. What are they gonna do, banish him from the game?
  7. Out on loan, should be included as still a member of QPR
  8. Did you just repeat what Dave said?
  9. Bit over the top this reaction surely. Yes it is. Webb is a cunt, but it's not all down to him why we are losing. He's been fairly liberal with the yellows as well. Is that three for ManU already?
  10. Bills game and then THE game. One of us is going 0-3 today. Goddammit. I didn't think about that.
  11. As much as he's a big miss, don't forget we got bashed a few times last year with him in the side. The goals were both headers off corners...gotta think Colo + Taylor shores up that aspect of the defense at least. Willo and Perch are dreadful through the air.
  12. Unbelievable how we ever start 4-4-2 against good sides. Why in God's name.

  14. FFS, we are atrocious on set pieces and corners. Absolutely god awful.
  15. These Stoke away kits are smart lookin
  16. Fuck Millwall fans. They killed Charlie Hunnam.
