At the end of the day he is a professional footballer who apparently has a knee ready to explode and end his career, I can hardly blame him for wanting to maximise his earnings. He's been brilliant for us, especially for a free, but this was always going to happen and if now is the time for us to move on and away from his circus then so be it. Can't blame him for being first choice RB at the club for so long, just shows the lack of ambition from the club. Similar position to Willo really, out of his depth, but with more of a shitbag attitude. Such an obvious weakness in the squad, if we come out of another window with him it'll be a pathetic showing from the board.

In the summer I was fairly supportive of what was going on, we'd just had an excellent season and I pretty much accepted that we weren't getting anyone in despite our obvious flaws. It's got to a point now though where our deficiencies are so glaringly obvious (not that they weren't in the summer but our performances were masking them) that i'll be seriously fucked off if we don't at least get a new CB in. There is money coming in from the new TV deal and if I hear that we haven't got one over the line or we should be thankful for the owner we have i'll be seriously disenchanted for the first time in a long time.
