Excellent game, so encouraged to see us play so well and look so committed, thought Trippier was superb but they all played their part. We need to take this into the Everton game and turn the horrible c*nts over.

Doesn't send the best of messages, just sulk around put in half arsed performances and you'll get a new contract to appease you. Love the lad but he should have been taken off much earlier amd should be dropped for the next game.

I always suspected Howe would only be able to take us so far and I get the feeling he's close to that now, desperately hope I'm wrong but that's just my gut feeling. I still chose Howe over Mitchell though because I don't trust Mitchell or Eales one bit and the jury is still out.

Think we'll get the hiding we deserve here, might end up being a good thing in the long term. Would get Gordon off at HT, he's taking the piss, I've not seen him misplace that many passes in the entirety of last season than I have in the last 15 minutes, clearly not on it. Entire team is a shambles though, the manager needs to address it fast.

Doesn't seem to know what his role is in the team by watching him, doesn't know whether to get forward or sit deeper, so just sort of drifts in and out of the game, same for Joelinton. Central midfield is a huge problem, it looks like three strangers just hoyed together with no instructions.

If these performances turn into shit results Eddie will have to be careful with Mitchell lurking, it's easy to forget because we are currently in the top 4 that we've completely lacked identity and a gameplan and made a lot of basic errors all over the pitch so far this season.

I love the idea of our midfield 3 but without a proper number 6 doesn't work. We are exposed time and again through the middle.
