Howe is finished here mind, he hasn't got a clue how to fix us.

Would like to see him given a run in the team tbh, especially if Miley is going to be stuck at RB.

Don't think he looked particularly comfortable at right back but he did well and he's starting to look really composed on the ball and like a proper player, the fact he has goals in him is a massive bonus too, he's a positive amongst the gloom.

Big couple of months for Alex Murphy you'd think.

Been better but still not good enough, feel like things will regress when Wissa comes off, it's made us look better in the final third having an actual focal point not a pretendy CAM.

I have no problem with us going there and keeping it tight and not going gung ho etc... but it wasn't just that, we were so so deep, the wingers were so deep most of the first half there was literally no option to counter, not sure if that was mentality or by design but either way it was cowardly.

Miley is way too slow to make a consistently effective fullback.

The saddest thing about the entire game was that we all knew deep down it was game over when that O.G went in, this wasn't a bad day at the office this is now our identity, I wouldn't even consider questioning Howes position if this wasn't the case.

I wouldn't want him replaced with whoever's available don't get me wrong, it would still be a very big call, but someone like Glasner or Iraola come immediately to mind. You make an excellent point though, we've seen behind the scenes at the club is nowhere near either, it's all a bit of a mess to be honest, we can't even do being filthy rich right.

We all suspected deep down that Howe would only have the ability and pedigree to take us to a certain point, overall he's been incredible for us, and we all love him and respect him dearly for what he's done. I think the time has come to start thinking about a succession plan here at least from those above, players are regressing left and right, we all of a sudden have a really soft underbelly, there's a lack of fight and desire, the players never look like they quite fancy it when it becomes physical, this has been going on since the end of last season, it's not a knee jerk reaction, we've been getting progressively worse, we never come from behind and get anything, at all, ever. Then you top it off with that derby performance, which might honestly be the softest derby performance I've seen in my lifetime, on top of a total lack of ideas from top to bottom. When one or two players are underpeforming it can be put down to form or bad luck, but when it's an entire team, the manager is the problem and he's not solving it.

Certainly hope it doesn't detract from his 1 goal in 10 games too much.

From minute 1 to minute 96 they were more up for it and wanted it more, flew into tackles chased everything down, we've somehow ended up with a team full of soft cunts and a manager with a total lack of ideas. Needs change.

His time is coming to an end, no improvement, same issues, nothing is getting any better. I know emotions are high but this isn't good enough, we've been abject.

Attacking is definitely his weak side, but he does actually get into a lot of great positions, hopefully the rest can be worked on as he plays more and improves, needs a big stint with no injuries.

I think we are starting to see why Howe was so reluctant to use him over Pope, he's obviously much better with the ball at his feet but worse at everything else, not awful but nothing close to a top keeper (on early viewing at least)

It's something we are quite poor at as a team, we want an age on the ball, could also be a question of movement around the player in question.

Thought he was better than usual but nowt special till his great assist. Loads to prove still but hopefully that gives him some confidence and he kicks on.

Shoots when he should pass and passes when he should shoot, isn't willing to put the the miles in anymore either, has all the hall marks of a player who believes his own hype.
