He's looking much better, the issue now isn't him looking like a lost sheep and effing up the basics it's more about final ball and quality, he got into some great positions last night but failed to add a consistent final ball. I'm not sure he's ever going to be the level we want or need but I do think there's more in there to come from him.

Not a midfielder and never will be, certainly not as deep as he's playing currently that's for sure. But also doubt he will ever be a successful main striker in a Howe team, I really like him he's talented with bags of potential but if Bayern are willing to spend anything close to what we paid I'd snap their hands off. It's not his fault we paid 70 million for him though and it's certainly not his fault he's playing in a role that he clearly has no business playing in.

I really hope that if Howe stays he isn't allowed to spunk another £250 million on the wrong players, I really hope Wilson is good at his job and has took control. Next season has to be different, I genuinely just want this season over and done with, I'm at the point where I just can't be arsed. Champions league on Tuesday big big exciting game and I don't think I can even get excited for it.

Must have watched that Raisbeck video about 30 times, a truly magnificent moment in a clusterfuck of a season. I know there were loads of positives last night but really think it's looking like it's starting to click in midfield, Tonali has stepped up massively and Ramsey really starting to look a player, and Joelinton was a collosus too. Really hope we can finish the season strongly and at least get top 10/finish above the scum.

Would start Wissa and try and play him into some sort of form.

I know it's rightly all doom and gloom tonight but actually thought he was excellent today all round, his passing was much better and he was absolutely everywhere.

Ramsdale definitely not any better but needs to be dropped on principle at a minimum, can't keeping throwing away points game after game and just keep his place, sets a bad precedent to everyone.

He's obviously being badly mismanaged, however, he doesn't have much going for him does he as has been said, can't win a header in the air, rarely shoots when he gets the chance, possibly the slowest player in the league, a weakling and comes across a little bit soft. Obviously has talent and skill but doesn't get the time on the ball to show it in this league, it's too fast too physical for him and games just pass him by, I don't think we could have signed a worse profile for how we play.

Really hoping Bayern still fancy stumping up good money for him in the summer, just can't see it ever working here for him, we signed him because he was willing to come here and he had a reputation, without any due diligence about what sort of player he was and how we would set up with him.

That's it, he can do a job there but we should be aspiring for better than that.

I really wish it wasn't this game next when we seemed to have had a little mini revival, hopefully that means we'll at least make a game of it though.

Pleased for Howe, a lovely bloke under a lot of stress and that meant a lot to him and the players. Despite my questions of him that was nice to see.

Not sure this is something you simply solve with a few new players, he's unable or unwilling to adapt tactically and hasn't been able to solve this mentality shift which now sees us having dropped 18 points from winning positions, which I think is the worst in the league. I really love the bloke for what's he's done here but I'm losing trust in his ability to turn this around and to be good enough to lead us to that elite level in the future. I also don't trust him with another 200 million in the summer.

Try and stay positive so you're not put in the naughty negative thread, this great, excellent stuff.

That wasn't the point, it's hardly "forced on him" most of them are players he wanted and signed.

Still nearly a 400 million pound squad out there.

At very least another away win and proof we CAN hold onto a lead might give them some confidence going into a decent set of fixtures if nothing else, obviously still lots of work to do still.

Was our brightest attacking player the whole time he was on the pitch, provided an assist and was involved in the build up the second goal aswell. Lost the goalscorer running into the box for their goal, didn't look like he could be arsed to track back and his play acting was embarrassing, starting to really dislike him but at least last night he offered something. Don't understand why we don't switch wings during the game though I always think Gordon has looked decent on the right on the rare occasion he's been used there and Barnes is just not suited there at all.

0-0 draw for me, I think it'll be similar to the man utd game but they won't be good enough to score. Howe will say it's a platform to build on.
