A one word company name like ‘Adidas St James’s Park’ would be the only way to do it, really. -

If not to make money, then presumably for the same reason you or I might buy an Xbox. -

Lives in the Middle East, mates with the skunkers journo, same source as paully etc. Is he not speaking about terrys chocolate orange he had previously Some of the boxes had superficial damage. -
Yeah - they had goals in them though.

I don't agree, he'd go to Legoland, bye. I wonder who got the powerpack?
-
Ah man. I was keen on having ‘United’ as our sponsors. Just to piss off Mourinho’s lot.

Rafa’s a control freak. Of course he was going to try this.

It's not unthinkable that it could be us.

Rafa - we appreciate the work you've put in. We feel we're safe now and we never stand in the way of a manager who wants to progress. We were fair to Alan, and we'll be fair to you. That's why we've prepared this contract for 1 month with a lower, fairer exit clause of £3m. Speaking of which, I've got this letter here from Karren Brady..

How much is Merino worth then? Relative to Sissoko?

We’re in the top half with minimum spend. The iron is hot now.

I thought the one standing was Sunderland's fittest lass

Sold him in FIFA. He's dead to me now.

Rafa spent all day wanking over internet porn - and we still won

There's his reason to get rid of Rafa...

Sorry yeah - it did look a bit random, I suppose. I was just reading about what they pulled when Keegan was in post, and the same tunes are being played now. The difference is that now there seems to be a slow acceptance amongst media and fans that Ashley is a t***. Personally I'd love to see some 'Boycott Sports direct' flags taken into SJP this season - I'm amazed that's a tactic which hasn't been used so far.
-
Thanks for that Dave. Since we were talking about Ashley's thinking back in around 2007, it seemed interesting to see the spin coming out from his camp around that time. A LOT of the same tricks are being used with Rafa - such as The Schweinsteiger maneouvre, for example. Keegan even wanted a left-back and couldn't get one.

"FOOTBALL is a murky world. Away from the bright lights, the goals, the glitz and the glamour there is a hidden world of dark political manoeuvring and grubby financial deals. It stains the game, but once again it is Newcastle United who have hung out their dirty laundry in public for everyone to point and stare. This is a football club which continues to entertain the nation far more successfully off the pitch than it does on it. In truth, while Kevin Keegan may have won his case for constructive dismissal and will walk away £2m richer as a result, has he lost a degree of respect and admiration in the process? Keegan has been idolised as both a player and a manager at St James’s Park, but in his determination to maximise his compensation claim he was guilty of greed. In pursuing a pay out of more than £25m based on a tenuous claim for loss of future earnings, Keegan was blinded by money. We did not want to believe it – but he was seeking personal financial gain at the expense of a business which only escaped administration this summer by the width of a crossbar. United fans will do well to remember Keegan for the wonderful things he did as a manager in his first spell, and before that, as one of the best players to have ever pulled on the black and white jersey. But this ugly saga has left a bitter taste in the mouth which will take some time to remove." http://www.thejournal.co.uk/news/north-east-news/kevin-keegan-lies-damned-united-4470677 This is a right load of uncredited old bollocks isn't it?

Cadets in Morpeth today raising money for RAFA. Is this what it's come to?

I wonder if it was Costa?

We used to have a keeper with a canny kick. A Geordie lad...
