Don't think there's much wrong with our midfield 3 tbh. It ran the show Vs Villa, did ok and was quite compact away to Man City, fell apart but only when Tonali came off against Liverpool and obviously was poor today. Brighton are one of the best counter attacking teams in the league and literally stand still with the ball inviting you to press them. Our gameplay is to press so in some ways I would have been more pissed off if we did that today as it would have been suicide. We tried to hold off but they still cut through us. It happens. They're a very good team and capable of beating everyone in the league at that ground bar maybe Man City. Shit result but so glad those games are out of the way now. International break then we reset v Brentford and get some confidence back.

Poor performance, lots of poor passing and we look very flat. Let's not forget though that for the first 7 games last season we won only once, lost once and the rest were draws. That included much easier games against Forest, Wolves, Palace and Bournemouth. Our next games are against Brentford,Sheff Utd and Burnley so it's definitely not time to panic just yet.

Enjoyed it overall. All or nothing series it wasn't but I suspect Eddie had a say in that as he didn't want the cameras in and around the changing room every game which I agree with. We have a great team running the club, that moment between Mandy and Eddie on the pitch was tear jerking man. Club is truly United and that came across really well in the series.

Prices have gone mental but you have to remember the club receiving the money will be getting crazy quotes on anyone they want to buy. It's just a domino effect until one club banks the money. Going by those prices above Liverpool could sell Salah then have to spend nearly half of that on a relatively unproven player. You simply can't afford to buy any duds.

They look great. Wasn't keen on Sela logo at first but it's slowly looking better. I think the fact it's black and white makes a massive positive difference to any future kits.

Subs weren't great but if Barnes passes to Wilson and we win 2-0 then Howe's subs barely get a mention tbh and probably gets applauded for bringing on fresh legs down that side. They had 2 shots on target in that second half and scored them both. Miggy hit the post on what would have been a Worldie. Thin thin margins but we blew it ourselves today, something that will very very rarely happen under Howe. We're not playing out best and still getting very close to getting results against Man City and Liverpool. Think of where we were 3 years ago and think of where we'll be in 3 years. Darren Eales appointment was such a smart move. He's got a very good persona for good PR but he absolutely knows his shit. Building up Atlanta United is some feat. I think many fans of other clubs don't realise just how fucking good we've been at staff recruitment. Quality all over the club.
