  1. I actually think more people hate Piers Morgan than Nick Griffin.
  2. Seriously though, he shouldn't be on question time (though to be fair it's been dumbing itself down for all eternity). He should be able to control himself better. There was probably no shortage of antagonism in the well documented instances of him losing control. This isn't an excuse. Shouldn't mock people who attempt to expand their horizons, it's snobbish. At least he tries to engage with things bigger than himself. It's cynical to reduce that to self-promotion. He tweets a lot but in reality probably has fuck all else to do.
  3. I'm always thinking bad I never have nothing good to say I'd rather tear things down Than build them up It's easier that way I hate the jocks And I hate the geeks I hate the trendies But I also hate the freaks I hate Dr. Martens And Muscle T's I'm only happy when I'm in my misery I'll cut you down and give you lip Being positive's so unhip I'll cut you down cause I'm a fool Being positive's so uncool The Offspring
  4. I'm not sure FIFA is the issue in Brazil (Felipao??), corrupt politicians at both local and national level making the cost of the tournament at ridiculous levels. There's also an Olympic games in 2 years time and the IOC said the preparation was a shambles so far. FIFA are absolutely a small part of the problem, they're benefitting from the tournament and have refused to put a single penny into it. That's FIFA though, they do what they want and we as a nation failed when we asked for the WC. All FIFA care about is profit, if people die they don't blink an eye as long as all of them walk away with heavier wallets. Any nation asking for a World Cup is basically helping enrich FIFA. The day this stops and they stop having that power of doing what they want is the day we as a world will be better off. However, our biggest problem is without a doubt the mentality within the politicians. They have all the power, so they vote for what they want, what their salaries should be, how many free paid weeks off work they should have, what advantages they should have as politicians. Here you can read a bit on our scandalous politicians: http://www.economist.com/blogs/economist-explains/2013/11/economist-explains-14 Just look at Lula (our ex-president) son. Kid was working in a Zoo before his dad became president, now he's a self-made millionaire with government help. It's f***ing ridiculous. All Lula's closest friends in the government even those that have been found guilty of bribery and so on are all millionaires. Brazilian politicians are all thieves. In fact, there was statistics that the most applied job after university degree in Brazil is to work within the government. Everyone knows that once you're in there you can become a millionaire as long as you make the right connections. Surely politically then the best outcome is say I don't know, an Argentina Win?
  5. FIFA will be benefiting from this tournament. As will corrupt politicians. FIFA should really vet the people they get into bed with on a four year cycle.
  6. Collusion between two corrupt organisations to the detriment of you know, people.
  7. What ever happened to Dede? He was supposed to be the next big thing a few years ago For me he should still probably be it as well, injuries have stagnated his development a bit. Is now at Cruzeiro though that won the league and is a very very good defender. We all thought it was between him and Miranda for the 4th CB spot so was surprised to see Henrique there. Remember one paper linked us with him a few years ago, you think injuries were a problem? No doubt he will turn up in Ukraine in the next year or so Think we'll see him in a bigger league then Ukraine. He's that good, Ukraine are more young players that have been good for a year or two only. Dede has played at the top for more than that now. Only player that was capable of stopping Neymar when Neymar was at his best in 2012 (or 2011 can't remember exactly) The future of Shakhtar is somewhat up in the air thanks to the current political situation in the Ukraine.
  8. People don't like Sherwood because he acts a fool.
  9. Jesus Christ. Why is anyone giving Collymore the time of day. Odious little man with nothing about him.
  10. I never want to see that picture again. Unmitigated c***. He's going to get his, the motherless f***.
  11. Fucking QPR. Fuck off Redknapp you cunt. Fucks sake.
  12. Like a big tic that we had for 14 years. Glad he's gone but there will always be that space there now.
  13. I didn't watch the World Cup (since I wasn't alive), but it's considered by many to be the most blatant cheated World Cup in history. Dan has his charm but he also has a point. There's tons of occassions and not once can I remember a fan complaining of gaining advantage. Just making things up now. It may have been one of the most contentious decisions but we didn't cheat to get it. I'm really not. This is what I've been told by most people who have been alive to see all of them. The '66 one and the '78 in Argentina (where the military junta controlled it all) were the two World Cup where I've been told that there was obvious cheating and bias towards the homeside. Like I've said, this is what I've read and been told. In 2002 we had South Korea gain advantage, but I'm sure those referees made the same abysmal decision in other games in that tournament as well. How many people is that. So what was the obvious cheating in 66? No mention of the handball in '86? What about Grosso's dive in 2006? You know what don't bother. This isn't about refereeing bias or incorrect refereeing decisions, it's a conversation about cheating.

  15. You came fourth in the World Cup, but you cheated to get there. Oh dear.

  17. Loathe Real reason why I say that is because I've never seen one fan of any team ever complain in a situation like that of cheating. Making it a cultural thing as some have done is ridiculous as one of the most cheated World Cup was in favour of England and I've not read of English fan staying at home p*ssed that it happened. Fair enough shouldn't have had the 'e'. Loath meaning reluctant.
