  1. And given McClaren & Carr's friendship you'd have to say it's very odd indeed that this transfer happened.
  2. Yeah it never pays off, except for when it does.
  3. It's covered extensively in another thread. Why not consider it before you say things like 'A clear pen.' Shit haiku by the way.
  4. If people look at the laws of the game and come to the conclusion it is a penalty then they fundamentally do not understand written English. He's not looking at Fellaini, he's not looking at the ball and his arm is about 30cm away from the ball when it hits fellaini's head. http://www.newssportsdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/3018D26100000578-3396559-image-a-1_1452638853411.jpg Doesn't even hit his hand.
  5. Ita not bollocks at all, its not a law but its guidance on interpreting law 12 (page 125) Handling the ball Handling the ball involves a deliberate act of a player making contact with the ball with his hand or arm. The referee must take the following into consideration: • the movement of the hand towards the ball (not the ball towards the hand) • the distance between the opponent and the ball (unexpected ball) • the position of the hand does not necessarily mean that there is an infringement • touching the ball with an object held in the hand (clothing, shinguard, etc.) counts as an infringement • hitting the ball with a thrown object (boot, shinguard, etc.) counts as an infringement In yesterday case Mbemba has prevented Fellani from having a header at goal or to another Man Utd player. His arm was above his head which is an unnatural position and this its a foul and a penalty kick How on earth have you quoted that and reached that conclusion. 'Handling the ball involves a deliberate act' Probably don't need to say anymore than that. However: 'The distance between the opponent and the ball' 'The position of the hand does not necessarily mean there is an infringement'
  6. i'm all for being cynical about this set of c***s but it smells more of them gambling on potential to me, thinking they're getting the new hazard for 12m and can sell in 2 years for 30m Hazard was highly rated. Cabella was highly rated. HBA was highly rated. Thauvin wasn't. I mean that's just bollocks.
  7. It really does. 8 years ago we were signing players as favours to agents. I doubt that type of thing has stopped.
  8. Perez is fine. He looks a little jaded at the moment and probably is a bit fed up with the team being shit all the time.
  9. He did very well on that pen. Once smalling grabbed him he grabbed the small of the front of his shirt (sort of like a rabbit punch) and pulled smalling down on top of him.
  10. Love him to bits. Think goals will start to come soon.
  11. The way he surges forward late in moves, and his finishing he's Rob Lee with stepovers.
  12. The logic about supporting the club through thick and thin doesn't seem to be adhered to when it comes to players.
  13. I only got into this thread to reply to one comment about him not "giving a f***". That's what all of my rambles over the last page have been in reference to. get back to work.
  14. So basically he wants to be in the champions league but won't do what's needed to achieve it. We all want things for Christ's sake.
  15. Lets be honest you'd have to be criminally thick to make the appointments he has made and continues to make if your end goal was footballing success. I don't buy the whole he doesn't get football thing.
