  1. Maximum value. Hence why clubs need to be protected. It's interesting because Southampton has passed to her under intestacy (i.e. on the death of another) she, I assume, doesn't have to satisfy any of the fit and proper criteria. Not that that's a high threshold, but I'm not sure the FA would have let her purchase Southampton on the basis that she wanted to sell all the assets for maximum value (assuming that's what she wants).
  2. Not really a clueless owner though just someone who doesn't want to own a football club who happens to own one. Agree that clubs need to be safeguarded from these situations mind you.
  3. [quietly] Lets just say it moved me. [Loudly] TO A BIGGER HOUSE!
  4. Is the situation at Southampton really as simple as a Widow wanting the money back that her husband spent on a toy?
  5. Kinnear, Pardew, Carr and Ashley should go on Scrapheap Challenge.
  6. Hmmm maybe that thinking has been revised. Do we know what percentage of wages we are paying for loanees? May work out cheaper to pay loan fee and reduced wages.
  7. For outside of the Box see Kinnear; Joseph
  8. Keegan or Ketsbaia Really would have been great to have seen Speed carry on his progress with Wales at NUFC.
  9. Are we talking within the confines of the current set-up?
  10. There's no chance he's leaving man. We've been here before. Fair enough, i think he will There's just no chance Jesus will let that happen. There'll be 2 days before his contract is due to expire, talks with Remy will go south, Cisse will be off to the Middle East, and Shola will be sat there, eating his apple, ready to sign another 1 year extension for 10 quid a week. He will leave, then we will re-sign him on a free at the beginning of the season.
  11. That's the kind of appointment i'd like us to try, thinking outside the box would be a bit too much for Ashley though. http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01382/alan-shearer_1382849c.jpg
  12. Seems a pretty fickle point of discussion. People liked Jonas, he's gone, all the best.
  13. The need to blame someone for every goal on here is awful, good teams punish you on the break when you're chasing the game - that's what happened. It'll probably happen again at some point.
  14. Oh well that's my mind made up.
  15. What marks a top manager is consistent success.
  16. We need to get Kinnear to phone her. 'Louise from the Guardian? You're a cunt.'
  17. Let's face it, if Nasri had no injury there would be no discussion whatsoever about that tackle.
  18. Surprisingly enough mackems dont think it was a goal Just wait till we get some good fortune in a game or two. Then it will be lucky mags! with this incident disappearing from memory.
