Don't see what's wrong with the contract, we had risked losing him for nothing (and he almost didn't resign last summer.) At the worst we can always sell him back to the SPL if he can't cut it. If it turns out he can play CB at a decent level as well as LB, he could at least be the defensive cover we are always missing.

Agree with that but it shouldn't happen anytime soon. The league is already taking a big risk (im my opinion) by introducing this next wave of expansion, adding this on top of it would be a massive gamble. The MLS had begun to establish it's self during the summer. Even my friends who aren't football fans thought that attending an MLS game (in Foxborough even) was far more enjoyable than a four hour baseball game. MLS even gets some mainstream media coverage during the summer but would during the Winter? NFL, NBA, and the NCAA sports will hardly leave any time. They are making great strides with the league and the sport in general, but lets not get overconfident.

Don't like it. MLS had been catching up to baseball in popularity during the summer, but can it compete with the NFL, NBA and NHL? Doubt it. Plus it's nice to have football still going when European leagues are over.

Does MLS count as 'making it'? Played against Chris Tierney who is basically an MLS version of Ryan Taylor Played pickup a few times with a youth player at Birmingham City (Will Packwood) as he was from my town. Got so frustrated cause he was like 15 years old and better than everyone else, didn't think he'd end up in England though. Not saying that this is the case with Campbell, but a lot of these guys probably think the lower leagues are beneath them and aren't willing to drop down to league two. It's funny because a lot of the youngsters we've released can't even manage to play in League one or two. Where are Ryan Donaldson or Phil Airey or Aaron Spear playing now? I'm sure the club should be blamed for refusing to loan people out (seems like they've learned the lesson now) but the players must have some blame in it.
