  1. Like this idea, but Levy vs Ashley would never work.
  2. Some silence of the lambs s*** Hannibal Lecter: First principles, Bimpy. Simplicity. Read Marcus Aurelius. Of each particular thing ask: what is it in itself? What is its nature? What does it do, this bid you mention? Is it blue whale ?
  3. Hull are at least putting up a fight this half, wonder if we will do the same tomorrow...
  4. Didn't think Chelsea fans cared about old Spurs players, do they boo people from Fulham and West Ham too?
  5. Was just reading about him, he was the first failed late bid wasn't he? Sad story (Johnson, not the late bids although they are still quite a sad story). City were bringing crazy people like him, Barton and Steven Ireland through and now they have a collection of best players in the world...
  6. Pretty decent. Think it was about half an hour too long, I found by interest waning after the first hour. Seemed like it took twenty min to do the Swansea - ManU game.
  7. A bit same here in Finland. I'm still getting the usual five games live per weekend but no way to see the rest which means missing our games regularly now. Don't mind using rivers but there's no way for me to see the game later if I'm not at home during the game and that happens often. Only found out today and have felt right depressed all day after not missing a single game since we got promoted. Hope it isn't the same in Sweden after being teased by the NBC coverage. Think it's the same in Scandinavia regarding rights from the Premier League now, all matches shown live on TV/Internet except the Saturday 3pm ones (bar one). Could be worse. mostly just excited to be able to watch games at a normal time, if I have to stream them again then so be it.
  8. Forgot about the World Championships, nobody cares about them over here because they're on the same time as the playoffs. Seems pretty excessive though.
  9. Szczęsny could have been sent off too so I think it was a fair result.

I believe Viasat has the rights in Sweden and they can't be as incompetent as these daft c***s. Blowing all their money on national hockey team and Formula 1 while still having the rights to everything. Also quit showing Serie A and La Liga this season. Shocking but there's no options. Just for the Olympics? Ridiculous tradeoff for a 2 week event

  12. Couldn't find any of the overflow channels on TV. The commentary in the Man U game sounded like it was 2 seconds ahead. Other than that no complaints.
  13. Yup, no need to throw him to the sharks right off the bat. Give him some time at the end when the game is out of reach.
  14. Looked like a good player in that preseason tournament over here. I hate picking players from City and Chelsea though cause you never know who is guaranteed to start every week.
  15. I'm just glad we play monday. That way I can enjoy all the other games without worrying about us and be excited that football is back until reality sets in. Whenever we lose horribly on a Saturday I can never bring myself to watch any of the other games.
  16. This. No chance Mike pays that much for someone he could have had on the cheap.
  17. You really think that? I think the current Roma team (challenging for Europa League) is pretty much the perfect level for him. They seem to have higher ambitions than that now. Challenging for the Europa League is perfect. I could see him somewhere like WBA, Fulham or possibly even Everton. I forget that Roma have American owners so maybe that changes things. It's just hard to see a new manager leaving one of the highest paid players and club legend on the bench right from the start. I want him playing every game, which is why I'm worried about it.
  18. He didn't, but not sure that he was ever given a real chance.
  19. He is if DeRossi/Pjanić don't go anywhere. Someone's got to be the odd man out unfortunately.
  20. He isn't great but he's the best player we've got. I think he'd be a good starter on a mid-table premier league club but not someone I'd want here. Roma is probably too good for him and he shouldn't be there long with Strootman coming in. A few years ago I would have rated Holden higher but Bradley has definitely improved a lot since then.
