I think he's staying on FOX because he was commentating the Everton - Juventus match last night. Thought he was really good as a commentator too, would like to hear him more like that.

considering the Premier League advertisements on NBC have only showed the Manchester teams, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and Liverpool... It will be more of that shit unfortunately, the other clubs might as well not exist.

Yeah he looks promising. He may have won the backup CM spot by default now if Holden is gone. I was concerned about his pace and work rate but he put on a good showing in the final and all tournament really. How has he done in the Norwegian league?

Panama could easily win this. They press and counter extremely well, they could easily frustrate us and then score on the break. Not sure how much having no coach factors in.

I agree, I just brought him up cause someone was talking about Weimann. We should be looking for better than all these guys really, or at least not just limiting our options to a few players.

His (Long) increase in his sell on fee compared to the purchase fee wouldn't be worth the perceived risk from the board unfortunately. Not seem anything to suggest he is available though, wouldn't make any sense given WBA have no Lukaku. Thought I saw something on twitter about him being available (so prob BS) but yeah I don't see why they'd want to sell him especially if Odemwingie finally goes too. Just about sick of hearing the same mediocre names linked again and again, it would be nice if we bought someone that hasn't been mentioned yet.

What about someone like Shane Long? He is rumored to be available and couldn't cost too much.. Similar type player to Weimann from what I've seen. Still think someone like LeFondre wouldn't be the worst option off the bench. Better than Shola at least and he scored as much as Cisse last season for the worst club in the league.

People really don't have a problem with signing Remy? Even if you ignore the pending Rape Case (which should completely rule out this signing) this is still a guy who publicly turned us down for QPR only a few months ago. I'd rather have someone else.

Don't want Remy at all but things are getting desperate. We need someone who can play on the left and another striker, the Cisse news shouldn't change that. Still got my fingers crossed that a new signing is isn't any of the names that have been constantly linked.. Not very likely though..
