Just watched the Swansea documentary and it made me quite jealous that our club isn't run like that

Nothing when your club is essentially bank rolled by the Spanish government or banks or whatever. Local Council/Government isn't it, your point is right though. Not forgetting the world media... Pretty sure Madrid and Barca get something like 50% of all the broadcasting money for the whole league between themselves, seems ridiculously corrupt and anti-competitive.
-
Some might say he'll have to roll with it, D'you know what I mean?
-
Why aren't we trying to get Weimann? I remember reading a while back we were linked with him and he seemed interested in us, he would fit perfectly into our squad.

I can just imagine Kinnear showing off as he knew inside information that the other parents didn't, right up his street that.

This current gang will have us down in 3 seasons. Our only hope is Mike Ashley then fucks off.

Rio Ave 3 - 1 Newcastle United - post-match RAGING from page 11
Jesse Pinkman replied to Decky's topic in Football
I honestly still can't get my head around the fact that Pardew receives £20K-40K a week to manage a football team let alone a Premier League team in arguably one of the top leagues in the world. I just can't understand how in this day and age that is possible. The only explanation is these last two years have been one of those matrix glitches. I mean Alan Pardew manager with Joe Kinnear Director Of Football, only in a mackems wildest wet dream. -

Pardew telling Gary Wackett to warm up. -
Such pre-season hipsters, to be fair Asia and the US is like ssoo mainstream now.

And, as soon as it was said that he didn't travel with the squad then this story of him leaving was always going to be dished up. I don't think he will go, the cub know he won't be replaced cheaply (Bent isn't a replacement) and as result they will come to an agreement with him. I think they would prefer to lose say £250k PA off the Wonga deal to keep Cisse here rather then pay the price to bring someone of his quality in and the extra wages they would now demand compared to Cisse's. Your missing the realistic situation where they sell him and replace him with Bent.
-
As per with religion the whole situation is extremely hypocritical.
-
Pretty much sums up the amount of self awareness Pardew has, I am honestly beginning to believe that calling Pardew an excuse maker or fraud is giving the man too much credit, honestly think he basically just lives in his own little world where football is still played like it was in the 80's.
-
TBF if we had signed Giaccherini and Altidore we'd be happy... Although they are unproven they are making moves early, backing the manager and going for the right sort of signings, you know showing abit of ambition. We are still struggling to get Darren Bent 'over line' FFS.
-
I am not even a 100% why but one of my favourite non-Newcastle players, would be a top signing.

Official: Yoan Gouffran signs new contract with Goztepe

Yeah seems like Pardew has even managed to spin the players interviews now. Wouldn't suprise me if there is an exclusive on SportsDirect next week with Sissoko claiming Pardew is the best manager he has worked under, and that Jonas should be the first name on the team sheet. -
Cavani, Ibrahimovic, Falcao, Lavezzi in Ligue 1

I am abit late to the party but whats this about blood doping amongst the Spain team and the Spanish authorities ordering the blood samples to be destroyed?
-
Maybe I am putting 2 and 2 together and making 5, but no-one else think this'bid' maybe Darren Bent related? The bid maybe used to force Villa to accept our valuation of 5 million, by showing we are willing to move on. However Ashley knew we never really had any chance of getting Kone as it was already nailed on he was off to Villa. Or maybe the fact we pulled out means Villa have taken the bait ...... http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m0y2er4VfJ1qztjn5o1_500.png

Curtis Good on eurosport now, Brillante for Australia and Jairo for El salvador look the pick of the bunch so far, Good hasnt had much to do.
-
f*** me. Pretty sure they are in Serie B now, so about championship level, they'll probably get promoted straight away and he'll be on the move again like.
-
There is a simple solution to all our problems include a swear jar in Kinnear's contract, should bolster the transfer kitty considerably.
