Issue with Mount and Kane is they both want to occupy the same spaces. I'd give Kane and Abraham a go up front. Midfield 2 of Rice and Bellingham, Saka left side, Bowen right.
-
He doesn’t play for a club the national media approve of.

A very Fabio Capello performance from England.

Far too many safe options taken. Seems to only be Kane now with any kind of directness. Can’t believe no one has told Grealish to do his full back a favour and take more than one touch with his weaker foot. Bellingham, where possible and without hindering his development with too many games played, should play. JWP happy to watch and not participate.
-
Di Lorenzo is moving inside before Grealish even starts to dribble. If we exploit that, we’re in.
-
The reluctance of Grealish to go on the outside is hampering us.

The question has been asked, gentlemen. And now, we play... the waiting game. -
First half analysis. A few minutes to go I know, may have to add to this. Scamacca looks a little bit like 2002 Rivaldo.

Judging by the pitch of their voices, most were likely conceived in the run up to that final last summer.

England team singing the anthem like a load of primary school kids at morning assembly singing All Things Bright and Beautiful. Tear to my eye.

What's he like as an athlete, we've made that mistake with Bruno before.

Always thought how precarious we all are in terms of being homeless. A run of bad luck, loss of job, business collapse. I was thinking of it a lot before COVID, being self employed there’s so many things out of my control that can effect my ability to make money. Scary, really.

His piano playing days are over, sadly. I’ve seen very little of him play but yeah, probably safe to assume he’s for the future and likely to be eased in barring a disaster with recruitment/injury. I’d guess it’s him and another striker to strengthen up front. -

The club will have access to whatever medical records they like. They’ve showed an interest in him since the winter, they know what injuries he’s suffered and how severe so I don’t think it is of concern. It might make a move difficult now depending on how quick Howe sees him being involved obviously. He could still pass a medical if we pursued the deal fwiw. -

That would have been devastating in the past. The Olivier Bernard, Sibierski, Kuqi years. -
Twitter really is a cesspool like. Folk going out of their way to say he'll be a good signing for the Championship in 2 years. Mind, some of our fanbase on Twitter are a fucking embarrassment too.

Both the Croatia and Italy games, we suffered from not taking our chances. I thought both games we started well and had a good first 45, then seemed to shrink in stature. To be expected with all the pressure, particularly that Italy game where you could feel the nervous energy from the stands. The entire Euros up to that point, aside from a spell in the Germany game where Pickford appeared to lose his nerve, we controlled most games and conceded 2 goals, 1 from open play. We played the tournament perfectly for me. It's far easier to get your team solid defensively and maintain a shape in the little time you have than to get them to play open and expansive attacking football. Individual moments let us down more than anything Southgate does. The comparison to Bruce is ridiculous. Sacking Southgate couldn't be further from my mind currently, him and his team had me enjoying football while Bruce was capping off an utterly dreadful 14 years of Mike Ashley.

Has any of the broadcast team said, "that wasn't in the script!" yet?

That’s a man under pressure. Beaten by one shot on target, should have been two but Klopp and his other team didn’t react to the warning sign and the let off that followed. How many of Liverpools shots were hit and hopes following a period of not being able to muster up the courage to do what they do to the likes of Southampton regularly?
