I'd guess so. Perhaps its a FFP thing, if we sign our targets it may impact on summer window, but I'm not clued up on the financial side.

Who is slating the owners?

There are some benefits. It isn't wise as it can lead to other clubs taking notice and hurrying up their own plans, but if you're in negotiations with a player or two who are on the fence, it can sway a players mind. Not saying they are leaking information, more a thought.

Refreshing the thread title in between jobs. Are they maybe just annoyed it’s made the papers? Is the leak our side I wonder?
-
I’m just going to go along with what Shelvey will be calling him. ‘Daddy’.
-
Represented by the same agency as Carlos, maybe we’ve been given a nod as to his availability.
-
He's followed by Neil Farrington and Al Foran, the Irish impressionist if that adds any weight to him.

Never really felt like this one has ever been close. They're in a good spot, Sevilla. Europa League final at their ground to aim for and sitting nicely in La Liga. We've aimed as high as we perhaps realistically can and some inexperience may be involved but I do believe we will swiftly move on to the next target and learn from this. I think ManDoon said it earlier, a good defensive midfielder would be preferred.

Give it to the end of this week and see who we sign. With the right additions, Roy being at Watford won’t save them.

geordiecunny had the bad injury, I think? Did he have a name change on here maybe?
-
Truly bizarre that Steve Bruce isn't one of the frontrunners. And hasn't been for the 2 or 3 jobs that have been available since he was sacked here.
-
As if Raphinha moved to Leeds because he's always wanted to live within a handy distance to Victoria Gate.
-
He used to deliberately fail eye tests as a kid because he was the only one in his family who didn’t need glasses.
-
First half, there seemed to be an instruction for him to tuck in which gave them the wide space but they did nothing with crosses all game. We either dealt with the ball or they overhit it. He's looking class so far. Can tell he's at that stage of his career where positioning, which ball to play and what actions to take with a run all seem to come to him like muscle memory.

When draws have felt like losses, it's nice to go into the break being unbeaten in 3. A lot you can improve on with performance today but you'd take that all day long at the minute. Our game management seemed better towards the end. We weren't like a rabbit in the headlights, particularly after the penalty was denied there was a fear we'd crumble.
-
Hope he kicks on, really think he'll come good. He's lacking experience and struggling with not continuing straight on with his goal scoring form. Maybe a bit of homesickness into the mix.

He'll be desperate to impress, I won't have any concerns over motivation. If he wasn't 100% on coming, I think he'd stay put for now, maybe negotiate with a club abroad. A big plus will be having someone who is a threat with a shot from range.
-
He absolutely takes the pressure off ASM and makes opposition defences focus on someone other than him. We are so easy to defend against currently.
-
It is definitely very suspect. It's either that or it's literally live updates of negotiations happening real time as we try to get him registered by tomorrow dinnertime. Is it Lingard's side leaking the price that Man United have accepted? Very strange u-turn.
-
Depends on what's part of the deal. Do they ask for £3-5m up front loan fee, clauses including escaping relegation etc to bump loan fees up to around about £12m anyways?
-
A loan is fine as long as none of us jump the gun and have him tattoo his logo on us. Nah seriously, short-term 6 month loan is fine. Stay up and we're in a better position in general to either try for him permanently or look elsewhere with a full summer window.
-
I'd guess it's very rare for any Premier League club to be interested in a player and be the only one. Unless of course, you've got a free run of 6 months worth of negotiating to sign Joelinton for £40m.

Always the danger when it has been in the media for a week now. I only hope that we have been making enquiries elsewhere and learnt from the Botman attempt.
